Finally - a game!

After a couple of postponements we finally have a game - unfortunately it's against the league's form side. That being said, for some strange reason I foresee us getting something out of it.

We're a much better side away from BP, we're coming off the back of a win, Shez has us playing better, and hopefully we will have some additions before Saturday.

Joel Coleman

Cameron Dummigan - James Wilson - Anthony Gerrard - Danny Lafferty

Matty Palmer - Liam Kelly - Carl Winchester - Mike Jones

Rhys Murphy - Jonathan Forte
Wigan 2-2 Latics (Forte & Murphy)

As for our following - I really dont know. One one hand you can say the lack of games recently means it's some extra money in the pocket and haven't played Wigan for year, on the other hand we've been shit this season and are 23rd in the league.

Had we been able to play Blackpool last week and won, I'd have said 2000. We'll be lucky to take 1200 I think atm.

I'm going for a 2-0 home victory. The pitch being re-laid at the DW this week after winter has taken its toll. New surface will suite our passing game and after scoring 12 in 4 home games, not losing at home since before Christmas and closing in on the top 2 momentum is with us. Now is the time to kick on for the automatics and anything less than 3 points would not be good.

We have history of putting a spanner in the works where Wigan are concerned.

Never forget the 1-0 at your place to become the first away team to ever win there. Did the double that year as well.

A repeat this weekend would be nice

Come on Wigan

This is interesting. A few weeks ago even most latics fans had written us off. Never mind opposition fans. Are we not seen as certs for relegation now then by others? And if not is it purely down to the dunn/Sheridan switch?

Matter palmer actually looks quite useful. Don't think he is one to go on higher up the tiers but he can definitely forge a career at this level and become someone's linchpin in the middle

Matty has been unlucky not to play more for us this season, he is a product of our academy. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back from his loan spell to play a part in promotion campaign. He is highly rated here.

Were the 5 goals you scored worth the entry fee?
fair play you come with a plan to park the bus and get a point and it worked we were completely off our game...and yes we should be putting 5 past you shocking result...

Oldham are by far the best side to come to the DW this season, very well organised, a manager that clearly did his homework, their right back sat so deep, so Yanic couldn't knock the ball past him often, I don't think he even crossed the halfway line. Oldham sat deep but you can't blame them, they fought for every ball and are fighting for their lives. They played like Burton did but with more quality and better standard players than Burton. If John Sheridan had been manager since August then Oldham wouldn't be anywhere near the bottom four and I expect them to put a good run together from now until the end of the season.

We were very poor, tempo just wasn't what it is normally like, build up so slow. On the new pitch our through balls that normally come off, kept moving across the pitch too fast and being over hit, pitch was too slick and I don't think the pitch helped us, especially when McAleny also slipped when he was 6 yards out and the ball came to him for a tap in.

if a team cant beat us playing at around 1% i dont see them staying up....that was so bad and i dont agree about oldham being a good side it was more about us being piss poor today..far to slow in posession...non midfield, we basically come down to oldhams level for 90 min and offered nothing..

Listened to gmr who had neutral commentators. They basically said if it was a boxing match we would win on points. Very close game with few highlights but high quality

Appreciate the honesty. Cheers
