Probably not one that our friend Dave is looking forward to.

Will be interesting to see what reception he gets from the Bury fans on Saturday afternoon, and will be also interesting to see what reception he gets from our lot at the end of the game, depending on how we've got on.

I'd imagine us to get another "superdraw" there isn't anything about Bury which overly concerns me, but will be aware it will probably be a mutual feeling - both have got off to "meh" starts and would be looking to finish higher in the table than both currently are. Hoping there should be a good 3-400 up for the game

Nice local trip, mind :animatedf:

He says he’s looking forward to returning to a place where he’s got some special memories. Fair play, That performance of his Bury team at our place the year they went up is still the best performance I’ve seen from an away side against us at Field Mill.

I’m looking forward to Saturday, Hoping for a decent following and if we get at Bury early like we did at home Tuesday night then I’m confident we will finally take a chance.

0-1 Danny Rose

We have been a bit meh away really, although unbeaten, would not be so much a problem if we didn’t keep drawing at home.

I’d take a point but Flitcroft needs another win really, play like they did against Oldham and surely we have to put one or two away?

Don’t think I’ll make it unfortunately- Will I ever manage to visit Gigg Lane? Still never been!

As away games go you’re not missing a great deal.

I nearly went when in the area when FC United played there but that never happened in the end.

I reckon it will be a decent following anyway, quite a few different places running coaches.

Day drinking and a night out in Manchester? What's to complain about that?

Don’t mention Manchester you’ll set him off.

When was the last time Mansfield beat Bury in the league?

We never seem to do well against Bury - According to the preview on Stagsnet we have not beat them since 2005.

Only won two out of 18!!! at home against them too.

Works perfectly, 3 hours of overtime at double pay and I get to be in bury for 12.30. Whereas the area around gigg lane is absolutely awful the town centre is alright. Mansfield should be drawing at least and flitcroft will Probably be made aware should they lose

What do you expect surrounding a football ground in an urban area?

It’s just terraced houses and there’s a few pubs nearby like the Swan and Cem it’s not that bad.

Award winning pub and restaurant.

FAO Cranium, our 4-1 win at Field Mill was the year before our promotion.
DF has come out with some odd quotes before the game I've noticed. 'I made the club loads of money,' being my personal favourite.

Wish I could make it to the game now I know a local restaurant is 'award winning'

Unchanged but no Davies to bring off from the bench which is always a worry.

Bizarre start, Bury started really well and we started the exact opposite then suddenly ten minutes in the goalkeeper drops the ball at his feet right in front of Rose who just casually pops it in the net.

Khan should have just made it 2-0, even though we have been awful in the first 15.

Bizarre game, Bury have a similar style to Mansfield but were much, much better at it on the day. That being said we created the better chances by far and we should have had it done and dusted way before the crazy 7 (seven) minutes added on. Great goal by Bury too.

The equalizer was more than expected mind, this Mansfield squad can not hold on to a one goal lead at all - it's actually shambolic and I'm finding all these draws more frustrating than losing all the time weirdly enough.

BTW - Clear penalty not given in the last ten seconds to Mansfield, Referee bottled it.

Ref was shite. We should have had a penalty too. Not a bad game would have been disappointed to lose that though. Maynard could be a good signing if we can get him fit.

A draw was about right - I can't remember any appeals for Bury that were a proper shout, willing to be proven wrong like.

I watched it on Ifollow so I could rewind it and that was a clear grab of the shirt and pull down against Mellis in the last seconds, and the fact it was the last couple of seconds is likely the only reason he didn't give it.

Just gotta decide who the biggest bottlejob is, our squad or the referee.

Also the fact we finished the game with no strikers on the pitch is pathetic too - Flitcroft is indeed also a bottlejob.

SLow handclap for Dave flitcroft. Well done pal, you’ve cost us another 2 points.

Dave, you’re 2-1 up away at bury, not Man City. You’re 2-1 up against a hardworking but limited bury side in front of about 2,000 home fans (unless they fudge the figures) and you bottle it.

How to defend a 2-1 lead? Oh I know, let’s take off then remaining forward and not replace him with a midfielder so were playing 5-5-0. Lets then decide not to play anyone on the half way line to compound the first error and make the balls back even easier for bury, but if you weren’t content with that you then play everyone in the penalty area for injury time.

Then you stand there confused and look the twat you are for conceding a goal which isn’t directly your fault, like it was in 4 other games this season.

5 (FIVE) wins in 23. FUCK OFF.

We’re a decent side this year, with some quality like Mayor. We played better on the day today and would have won if we hadn’t gifted you a goal.

The gate was 3,880 with 640 from Mansfield.

Also David Flitcroft is a thick twat and our unbeaten run against Mansfield stretches on.

AdamStag meltdown always fun to see.

No meltdown pal, similar to most Mansfield fans.

Tell me, how would the average bury fan be if your new manager had a record of 5 wins in 23?. You’d probably not be best pleased?
