Slovenia for me this summer, staying in Bled but will probably venture to the Alps and Ljubjana as well. Anyone got any must see/do tips?

Just booked honeymoon to Sri Lanka for December. Staying in Tangalle. Anyone ever been?

We're also an hour and half drive to both Galle and Matara so will probably go and spend a day in both of these cities. Any must do/sees?

Been in Portugal for the last couple of weeks as a slightly belated honeymoon. Been to Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto and we've really loved it - all 3 cities are brilliant.

That will be 10 trips abroad and 3 trips to scotland so far after those. Got Benidorm booked for September too and november and Malta in September as well. I don't like being here to be honest, if I could earn what I earn here abroad I'd do it instantly.

same with me, I've twice thought about doing what I do (orthopaedics) in the US but the only 2 places I've seen, are Cleveland (shithole) or Tulsa (bible belt) if somewhere like Portland or Denver came up i'd be off, plus I could pretend to be a Portland Timbers fan

i'm in Prague a few weeks after Thailand, then hopefully if Leeds are somewhere decent i'll be going on that tour too, more likely to be Italy with the Italian link we now have

yeah Spanish siestas , too hot to work , perfect working conditions, thought about Australia and New Zealand a few times (they are crying out for English and Irish workers in new Zealand for skilled work) only issue is I've never been so I can't comment on living conditions etc, America I know like my 2nd home

I've been to Australia, Melbourne and Adelaide but I don't rate the place at all it's just like here but has a hotter summer and costs a fortune although obviously you earn a lot more there. Plus it's too far away to be able to ever travel anywhere else. I'd still wanna come back for football and go to other countries with my pals. 5am-12.30 in Spain would be absolutely perfect but I'd earn about 30% what I do here so it ain't happening at the minute.

Who do you normally fly with for trips down there?

Looking at going over this Christmas for 10 days to see mine and the other halves best mates. Could time it perfectly for the test match in Melbourne too so I'll keep that on the quiet from our lass.

Cathay Pacific I went with then tiger airlines in between. It's not cheap for flights for the boxing day test though mate

Of course we have. Almost every place we've eaten has been exclusively vegan and all. One or two are not completely vegan but offer vegan options so that's ok.

Goin marbs with the lads in july, kieran trippier’s mum’s got a sweet villa there so we won’t have to pay for a hotel. We have all chipped in for a blow up sheep sex doll and wer gonna put it in kyle walkers suitcase. Gonna be jokes af! Best thing though is that we’ve managed to keep it a secret from lamela so far, hopefully he doesn’t find out and end up wanting to come.

Mate of mine who's a brickie went around most of Australia, ended up staying in Darwin and he loved it. Good money and cheaper than the other places I think.

I'm not exactly old (26) but the more and more I do these sort of things I do feel like the old man. Like you say, it'll just be covered in 18 year olds but rightly so. Will take note of the police tip, cheers for that.
