He's also playing for a good side and takes penalties.

Wood played for a shit side last season (still better than us this season) and scored about a dozen. Tammy's already on 22, he's a better striker.

Scored shit loads at the start though. Not taking it away from him but Wood has been unbelievably consistent. Great all round play, and it's not like we give him chance after chance. Scored 59% of his chances I think the stat is.

He was shit last season and you know it, your fans booed him at home to Fulham this year.

How many penalties has Wood scored this season?

Not as many as Rhodes used to score and get lauded

He wasn't, just some fans are morons. A lot of fans were moaning about how shit we'd been lately at HT yesterday.

4.

Tammy will have a bigger future but no way would I swap for the rest of the season.

Woods all round play is much better than Rhodes' as well, he's a very good championship striker no disputing. We had him a few years back on loan and McInnes played him on left wing.

Pisses me off that we've been shit almost all season. When we play like we have done in the last two games we are one of the best sides in the division. Something somewhere has gone seriously wrong to not get the best out of our players this season.
Yup, it's odd. As I've stated on a few occasions, you lot are genuinely the best team we've faced this season, absolutely mullered us at Villa Park. I still don't know how we came away with a draw that game.

So did we, absolutely murdered you at Ashton Gate and could've scored 7 or 8 in that second half. You looked a much better defensive unit under Bruce a few weeks back though, but at AG we tore you to pieces in the channels.

That was back in the days you were good. Didn't lj have a shocking run at barnsley too though then turned it all around?

Yeah mate, 8 straight losses and then 5 straight wins then went as soon as we came calling, which is what pissed their fans off. We had 8 straight losses after being top 6 after 15 games, but he's kinda turned it around recently. 2 losses in the last 11 (Leeds and Villa away), 2 straight wins and 3 clean sheets in the last 4.

Still want him gone though.

haha all these pretenders in here, "we are great on our day"

unlucky for you the season is 46 games long and consistency is key, apart from our opening 6 games we've been very consistent throughout :D

We're not great on our day though, we just have a shit manager who can't get anything out of a talented squad. Not pretending anything, we are where we are on merit and will probably be facing the likes of Carlisle, Bury and Rochdale (no disrespect) next season.

The beauty of this league is that anyone can beat anyone at any time. Having said that, it's very difficult to see past Newcastle & Brighton for the automatics.

Play-offs will be, as always, a complete lottery.

Interesting top six this season as it's still undecided and there are some potentially great finals. Leeds vs Wednesday/Huddersfield would be fantastic from a neutral POV.

Very much so.

Wouldn't rule out Preston for a play-off spot yet, Fulham seem to be unable to break through with two poor results recently.

Wednesday aren't that good this season.

I like you!

But our last 8 games are

Forest (H) - D
Bristol City (H) - W
Leeds(A) - L
Huddersfield (A) - L
Norwich(H) - D
Newcastle (A) - L
Rotherham (H) - W
Wolves (A) - W

Which gives us 11 points. Which leaves us on 68 points... I'd rule us out tbh.

Form (Last 6).

Sheff Wed - 4pts
Fulham - 9pts
Norwich - 6pts
Preston - 9pts

Next 2 games:

Sheff Wed: Barnsley (a) & Rotherham (a)
Fulham: Rotherham (a) & Derby (a)
Norwich: Villa (a) & Huddersfield (a)
Preston: Forest (h) & Bristol City (h)

It would be lovely if Rotherham could stop being complete shit for the next 2 games.

6pts in our next two home games would go a long way but those 3 away games at Newcastle, Huddersfield and Leeds will probably put an end to our hopes. Nice to still be involved though.

Our bad start to the season and inability to capitalise when in good positions will see us fall just a few points short I think.

Definite reasons to be positive about our chances next season though if we can keep the majority of the squad together and add a couple more.

Our bad start to this year has seriously fucked our chances, or we'd be talking about making Play-offs. Alas, as it is, we're miles off and shan't be getting promoted this season.

Yes, first good season for Leeds in about a decade, enjoy it!

I just know we're gonna lose to Huddersfield at Wembley and I'm throwing myself off tower bridge.

but what if we win and monk decides to run down the touchline? will it then be wrong seeing as it was perfectly fine for another team? :D

i'd personally love monk to simply go upto wagner and do the peoples elbow whilst raising an eyebrow

Definitely a weekend of wondering what might have been for us. 2 CB's taken ill before the game meaning the now dreadful Hudson had to start, and Hogg fracturing his neck a few minutes into the game. Who knows how differently things could've been if those hadn't have happened, with both Brighton and Newcastle faltering again the following day. It's still alive for us because of the game in hand, but it won't happen now with Hogg being out for the season.

No, it won't. You guys must've been having palpitations seeing Luis Enrique celebrating with his team after Barca got their winner against PSG.

We seem to be trying our absolute best to get ourselves out of the play-offs this season but Fulham look like they don't want it either.

We've been pretty poor since early December with the odd good performance thrown in (Norwich, Newcastle) but still managed to get wins through December and Jan, this luck however seems to have dried up.

I really genuinely have no idea whether we'll make it or not, the players are capable but for whatever reason its not transferring onto performances on the pitch, that said if we do manage to get there we have as good a chance as anyone.
