Fuck it. I'm having to do this again because some fuckmuppet deleted lots of threads. Probably a Baggie.

I'm shit hot at these predictions, so having been close with my tips for Rotherham and Birmingham City for the top two spots this season, I'll follow that up with my predictions for 2017/18.

Top two: Fleetwood and Barnsley
Play-offs: Reading, Sunderland, Burton and Sheffield Utd

Wolves will be 15th. We will have massive pre-season hype and rumours will link us with a fair number of hitherto-unknown Portuguese, Brazilian and Lithuanian superstars, all with low IQs and a girfriend with improbably large breasts. Four of these players will be loaned to Forest by October but our best signing, a 36yo from Port Vale, will be worth every penny of his £150k. We will lose every game in November, February and April and win Manager of the Month twice. Our pies will be voted Most Noxious in the West Midlands category, and we will learn in the Express that Kim Jong Un has been a season-ticket holder since 2008 and all Wolves games are streamed live on the Pyongyang Dave channel.

A new look Derby side, will get off to a good start and cement a place in the top two. Just as excitement begins to build in January, we'll go on a losing run, sack Rowett, and implode yet again as we drop down to 8th.

Same applies in 2018/19 with a different manager. And 2019/2020, and so on...

Odds on you re-hiring Steve McLaren?

Derby, Norwich and Villa who have let there supporters down badly will surely do much better next season.

Boro if they come down will surely be up there but I think Sunderland might struggle to make play offs.

The 2 teams coming up from league one with sufc will probably struggle along with Burton and Barnsley.
SUFC will probably do ok but a mid table finish is best they can hope for unless they make some serious investment in squad during summer.

I also think Wolves and Bristol City will improve next season.

Agreed, Judge to come back as well and they'll probably keep hold of Jota.

Not sure about us and Wolves Brad-Owl, we're often overhyped because of our budgets, or that was certainly the case last summer. Both of us have some obvious quality in certain departments but there are massive gaps in our squads in others. Will be interesting to see how we both go about our summer business, but besides the point - Wolves have a competent manager, based on this season we do not.

How could I forget Brentford, them and Preston have done fantastically well this season playing some lovely football at same time.

Boro will go straight back up provided they get a good manager. The other automatic spot is up for grabs. Villa, Norwich, Sheff Wed (assuming they blow the playoffs again) Derby will all have their eyes on it. Wolves will spend heavily in the summer, Warnock wants to have a go at Cardiff, can Leeds carry on their upwards momentum and that's without mentioning the other teams who lose in the playoffs, Swansea/Hull and Sunderland. Plus you've got the possibility of someone like Preston doing a Huddersfield. I'll enjoy watching from afar. :)

Fancy us to make a good go of getting in the top six if we manage to keep hold of McGeady (or find another quality loan) and improve our back up. Our sub strikers have offered nothing, meaning Hugill has had to run himself into the ground all season.

Think Boyle and Horgan will be key players next season, hoping Callum Woods can recover and play like he did last year, plus there's Stevie May who could offer us something different, if he doesn't move on. Barkhuizen has been playing with a hernia too, so fuck knows how quick he is without one!

Feel that we might have a nearly season next year. Lot of restructuring at the club going on and 7 players told they aren't getting new contracts today so think we'll finish 8th-10th next season, probably starting slowly then having a late run and looking at play offs/auto promotion the next year.

It's anyone's really isn't it.

Who expected Reading/Huddersfield/Leeds to be up there? Not many people did. There's half a league of teams that have the potential given a strong summer transfer window.

Not too fussed about Boro, Sunderland or Hull/Swans. Obviously the summer might change my mind but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion with any of them as it was with the Toon.

Hopefully we can get a few out and bring in a couple that Rowett wants, we've done ok under him since his arrival. I saw earlier that since we sacked Pearson we've averaged 1.75 points per game which seems mind blowing considering how dull this season has felt. It'll be another tough one regardless.

I think it could be Derby's year. Just sense it. You'll come straight back down again, mind, but you'll get a complete set of programmes.

The Wolves management thing is giving me an all new level of hatred and disdain for 90% of our fans, even by our own toxic moron standards it rarely goes about 67%, but this is something else. If I see you need a tried and tested manager and players to do well when in the championship I will scream. It's like they haven't looked at the league table and the managers of most of the clubs that were in the playoff/promotion race. I'd argue only Hughton had genuine experience. The Wednesday lad does but only what he has gained at the club.

This so many times. Experience is overrated. A cursory glance at the playoffs tells you that. Same goes for players as well.

Fans up and down the league were clamoring for Pearson last summer, look how he did at Derby. There are very few guarantees.

I think that we will start the season poorly and sack Bruce before Christmas time and appoint a very attack minded manager who will fire us into the automatic promotion spots along with Hull. I think the playoff spost will go something like 3.Boro 4.Sheff Wed 5.Leeds 6. Reading with Fulham missing out as they will lose Cairney and Johansen to prem sides.

What's so special about the relegated sides? They're all shite. I'd be surprised if any of them went back up straight away.

Boro and Hull have ready made Championship sides, all depends on their managerial situation.

Sunderland are a mess, i'd be surprised to see them challenge but parachute payments will give them a good opportunity to sort things out.

Sunderland's back 3 yesterday of Billy Jones, Joleon Lescott and John O'Shea would get ripped apart even in the Championship. They will need major reinvestment to even consider going back up.

Villa look a great bet to me at 8s for the title. Either Boro,Wednesday,Norwich for 2nd. Bristol city and wolves for the other 2 spots. Very early prediction from me, other than the villa one i hope im completely wrong.

Sunderland remind me of villa last year but i dont think they will spend as much money so might be 2 or 3 years before they are challenging for promotion again.

Personally unsure on Villa, but I reckon the three you have fighting for second will all be top six. Us and Wolves are wild punts, Wolves in a weird situation with manager uncertainty and our manager is an absolute clown so I'd be surprised mate.

Happy with United's early transfer business?

Can't say I know a lot about the 2 others other than ched. Both played in league 2 last season and both got in the teams of the year so must be doing something right. That Holmes from charlton who we look like we may get sounds like by far charlton best player so he could be a decent capture. If ched can regain his form from before prison he will be worth the small outlay. To be honest I'd not really heard of a few who wilder signed last season either and they did well so I have every trust in wilder I also like the idea of getting business done at this very early stage. I still think we need a goalkeeper as a priority. A proven centre half would be on my list too. As for the goalscoring sharp,Evans plus this Holmes if we get him. I know all could fail but Sharp is a goalscorer, he literally does not a lot else and goalscorers rely on confidence, he should have bags of that so who knows maybe he can carry it on and get us 15+ goals.
