I would, but I also empathised with them when they had that crook Carson Yeung in charge of the club. Don't get me wrong, it was amusing when he was imprisoned, but I could still see that they were being run like shit. It's to be seen with their new owners, though. I've seen a lot of Preston fans laughing at Blackpool and hoping they go bust ffs. I'd never wish that on anyone.

Shitty owners? You do realise that the previous owners to the Venkys bought them a league title. The Venkys where always going to be shit in comparison.

They get very little sympathy from a lot of teams in Lancashire because of the way their club and fans lauded it over everyone and rubbed people up the wrong way after there success.

We can't criticise anyone making hay at the demise of their local rivals to be fair. We gave r**ers all manner of stick when they dropped out of L2 into non league. We even celebrate its' anniversary as 'Sir Colin Daniel' day. We've also got a clock showing how long they've been at least a division behind us. We were concerned this year, I don't mind admitting.

I'd also like to point out that due to Venky's incompetence and agent interference we're now in a worse position than we were before Uncle Jack bought us, so there's your fabled "false position" argument you crack out every time this argument is done completely out of the window.

Just because the Trust was set up by Jack doesn't mean they had anywhere near the dedication he had. They had us on sale to anyone for years and took the first bid that came, without any research or knowledge of Venky's and their football expertise (or lack thereof).

Back in the day when Fat Jack rolled up and blew the transfer market wide open. Which caught even the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool etc by surprise. Their fans used to and I am not joking. Wave wads of cash at opposition fans shouting 'Loadsamoney!'
I know Burnley fans, Preston fans, Liverpool fans, Man Utd fans who jumped on the plastic bandwagon! When Walker died, his benefactors didn't want a damn thing to do with Rovers. I know this. They live around the corner from my Mum in Ribchester!
What Rovers fans fail to realise is. Ok. Venky's made bad decisions.They are still being bankrolled by themand if Venky's stopped financing them and pulled out. Rovers would go under instantaneously. Venky's are keeping them afloat! Venky's are absolutely nothing like the owners of Coventry, Orient or Blackpool.
The fact that Rovers fans have levelled, as so eloquently put by Leyland White 'Gloating and Abuse' by Rovers fans and their plastic glory hunters.
TRUST ME! There will be nobody at Preston, Burnley, Bolton or Blackpool who will shed a tear at their demise. Not one person.

You know Burnley fans that became Rovers fans? Come off it [emoji23] Venky's may be pumping money into the club, but it has nothing to do with investment to improve the squad - the fact they have to do that is 100% down to them and their poor decisions. Before they came along we were losing next to nothing, I believe we actually made profit a few times! Re: the point about Blackpool fans not caring, we had a joint protest with them in January that made international news...
