It's a shame we'll be the only Lancashire team in the Championship next season.

Bit surprised at this considering your April-September form, thought you looked a solid top 10 side
On our day we still look a very good top 10 side, but over the past couple of years we've just sold too many players without bringing in adequate replacements, and it's led to a very lop sided squad. No wingers and only one striker worth having says all you really need to know about our problems at the moment.

If we don't get our away form sorted out and play to the whistle and not decide to stop defending once the clock reaches 90 minutes. You could well be right. In some of our away performances. We haven't started playing at all!

Hope Rovers/Wigan stay up to be honest. It's good for the North West to have a healthy representation in the league. Preston look like they'll be fine as long as they don't fight each other every week!

Hey you guys

We wont pick up another point this year. Right in it.

Don't think you'll go down but at what point will people realise Holloway is one gash manager?

Our season is identicle to our relegation in 2013. It's astounding how some of our shite have the nerve to call themselves footballers.

All free hits out of the way now, massive month and a half coming up. Of our next 8 games, 7 are winnable. We'll have a clear idea by the end of January whether we're going down or staying up. Big game at home to Ipswich on Saturday.

He claims to have learnt a lot when he was working with Sky. Time will tell. We played well against Derby but got nothing, which is worrying to an extent.

For now at least, we are well and truly in a fight. Yet our DoF keeps mentioning the play offs; it aint happening! Someone working for QPR has to mention the 'r' word soon ...

From the few times I heard him speak on Sky it just reaffirmed my opinion that he is a total clown.

Still not sure how he managed to relegate that Millwall side a couple of years back.

As you say, will have to see.

You were saying Luke?

Come on. You want a medal or something, for being proven right? I just try to stay positive about my club and have always found constant negativity draining and counterproductive. After today though, I can understand peoples concerns and Im pretty hacked off myself that all early season promise has disappeared.

I dont think we will go down, but my major concern (as I think you pointed out the other day) is that we are heading into January on a slump with our backs to the walls. Its bound to affect recruitment.

If you're offering mate, then yeah I wouldn't mind one.

Funny looking at the first page of this thread, what a fanny Rammy is.

We might as well rename this "The North West Thread". Us, Blackburn and PNE are in here for the long haul.

Almost right.

Absolutely spot on really wasn't he
We're four points outside the relegation zone and are in a relegation battle as things stand so no I don't think so at all.

7pts isn't it?

You'll be fine, you don't ship goals anything like the three currently down there and Abraham will hit form again at some point.

Is it? I read earlier on the City Til I Die page it was four points.

Yeah I don't think we'll go down, we needed to make a proper go of this season with having Tammy here but we've missed the opportunity.

See what we do in January with a shedload to spend then.

You'll be fine, it's a stretch to say you're even in a relegation battle. Rotherham have got one spot sewn up already, I can't see beyond Blackburn, Wigan, Burton and QPR for the other two.

These will go as the league sorts the wheat from the chaff ahead of our dramatic return in 2018! :giphy:

The thought of going back to Doncaster next season kills me inside. Awful place, ground in the middle of nowhere and we always get battered there. The only way League One will be bearable next season is if Blackburn come down with us and Bolton stay down. Six years ago, us Bolton, Blackpool and Blackburn were Premier League while PNE were League One. Bloody football eh!
