I do feel for him, its a bit reminiscent of Tiger Tim hitting the ballgirl at Wimbledon as it was clearly not meant; however it was exceedingly dangerous, and we'll take it!

The umpire could of been blinded so I don't feel for him at all, so he should be banned from professional tennis for ever.

Long match for Murray...but he came through which is all he will care about.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/39145681

Be nice to get a title under his belt before the Masters series starts.

Meh I only care about Wimbledon and I don't know any other tennis players other than the big four and Tim Henman and if Murray doesn't win it then he's a failure and Scottish instead of British and if he wins it then I don't like him anyway because he laughed at the England football team 10 years ago and that was very disgraceful of him to joke about the England football team.

The England football team are true sportsman and role models, not like that arrogant Murray fella!

Pretty comfortable win in the end in 3 and 2; and a first title of the year for Andy. :)

Great win for Johanna Konta.

Could she win a Grand Slam?

Oh dear - another bad defeat for Murray on the cards albeit against a decent clay court player...

Nadal must be red hot favourite for the French?

No Federer either..

Fantastic to hear that the Russian screecher has been denied a wild card entry for the French. Pat Cash on the radio earlier completely agreeing with the decision, saying that drug cheats shouldn't get special treatment just because they're a crowd puller. Let's hope the LTA come to the same decision about Wimbledon and she has to qualify like anyone else of her low rank.

LTA chasing the money rather than doing the right thing. I'm shocked.

So the mens semis are the exact same as 12 months ago, except with Rafa instead of Djokovic.

Murray has done excellent to make the semis really. He's the underdog, which is an odd position for him in recent times, but who knows. I think a Rafa vs Wawrinka final is in the works though and I think Rafa wins number 10. Thiem will win the title one year though.

The womens event is hard to call. Halep looks a big favourite but there's something about Baczinsky. I don't really fancy Pliskova or Ostapenko to do it.

The screaming in the women's game is unbearable, I have to watch it on mute most of the time. Sometimes you think they were getting murdered, the screams are so loud.

Watched the Murray match and Wawrinka today. Agree with Lee and think it'll be a Wawrinka v Nadal final, though I'm hoping Stan can cause an upset. Murray has had a good tournament though and his form is coming back; hopefully this is a good stepping stone for the grass season upcoming.

Was bizarre how Djokovic basically gave up the final set against Thiem. Really seems to have lost his motivation since he won it last year. Wonder whether Agassi will be able to fix it.

Can't see past Rafa for the decima. He's unstoppable in this form

However, he only has Nadal and Thiem left with nobody on the womens side.

I have Nadal, Thiem Wawrinka, Halep and Pliskova. Can I make up 176 points with them 3? Not sure but it might add a bit of respectability to the scores.

Totally agree. Can't stick. In the past I've switched on to the tennis and that screaming wummin Sharapova is on court and I immediately change channel.

Not me Lee - sorry.

Disappointed for Murray - clearly ran out of energy in the final set.

Great tournament for Murray all things considered. He'll go into Wimbledon as 1 of 3 men who I think can win it (Federer and Raonic being the other).

The 3 left in the French probably won't make it past the quarters such is grass as a leveller
