Welcome back. In this game, I take over a team chosen by the members of 1FF (in a FM-like game) and, with the help of YOU, try to win as many trophies as possible.

At the end of each ingame month, I'll post all the results and important events from the month and also give a few discussion points or things for you 1FFers to decide on such as whether to keep or sell a player, who to keep in the starting 11 and who to drop, etc.

Your current task is to vote on the attached poll and determine which league we'll start in.

I am supporting your efforts "to do something" in the forum. Although I don't know if I can follow your progress continuously (because in 2 weeks time, 14/6, I'm in the hospital again) I'll do my best.

What League you should start? Hmm, Bundesliga of course. You have to "broaden your football interests" (my "hidden agenda" is, that you, maybe, also look in our German Football Thread from now on and post something there ).

So, good luck (even if the vote is for another league).

edit: After voting and seeing the actual vote: Someone already voted that you should start in 2.Bundesliga. That would be nice, too.

Threads we've had before following FM careers in really obscure European league were good fun. Whilst Germany and Italy are by no means obscure, I'm sure there's got to be some provincial fairly unknown to us clubs in Bundesliga 2 or Serie B who could do with some 1FF guidance and love.

That's a good argument. Hence I changed my vote from Bundesliga to 2.Bundesliga

Eintracht Braunschweig was competitive (lost only to Wolfsburg recently in the relegation playoff for Bundesliga). But I'll stick with St. Pauli/Hamburg, then

We've had a $1.93m bid for Jorge Sammir accepted. He's a 29 year old 86 rated striker who I'm thinking of getting to replace Molders, our 33 year old 83 rated striker. He wants $9k in wages per week. I think it's a good deal, but the next person to reply gets to decide.
