While everyone is playing the new Resident Evil game, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and waiting for the new Digimon World game to come out on Friday.

What a time to be an "adult."

Kingdom Hearts 3 still some way off according to Square Enix. Getting beyond fucking ridiculous now.

12 years since the second one now. It's madness. But hey, at least they re-released the first two games in that time. :hb:

YES to Kingdom Hearts, but Digimon? Here's a fact for you, broski:

Pokemon >>>>> A piece of Pooh >>>>> Digimon

GTFO of here with that Digimon nonsense. Pikachu would destroy that little orange dinosaur thing all fuckin' day.

It'a much easier if you just enjoy them both. ;)

However, I must admit as a youngster I did prefer Digimon (The cards were shit compared to Pokémon though.) While the Digi games have a lot more to them than Pokémon.

But, on the topic of Pokémon, have you played the new phone app 'Pokémon Duel'? I've enjoyed it so far.

I always preferred the Digimon show over Pokemon. Games were Pokemon over Digimon. Both were good though

You people disgust me :told:

And no no no, to try to tell me that the Digimon games are better. Pokemon games are usually in talks when people talk about game of the year, we're talking games that are in the discussion for the best of all time here. Digimon games, well, I've never played one... but if they were that great, they'd also be in those discussions.

Digimon is poo. Accept this.

And nah, I haven't got around to checking out Pokemon Duel yet. I tried but for some reason it doesn't load up for me. I guess I have to reinstall it, but this far I just haven't been assed

I mean, Digimon Cyber Sleuth was better than Sun/Moon at least.

After my post, I immediately remembered the enjoyment I got out of Red/Silver/PWO, so I must apologise for that.

Had the new crap games lodged in my mind.

GTA 3 and probably Mass Effect soon.

Never played the latter.

You're in for a treat  ME is very good, but ME 2 is often called the best game from the PS3/360 era, so make sure you stick with the series! ME 3 is also absolutely incredible until the last 15 mins or so... just hold your expectations low for the end and I think you'll be ok with it. It's bad, but I never thought it was as awful as some made it out to be.

Oh yeah, The Witcher 3...

I don't know what it is with that series. I bought number 2 and started it 3 times but never got into it. Then, after trying so hard to avoid getting the third one, I saw sooooo much love for it that I couldn't resist. And to be fair, I loved it for the 2 or 3 hours I played it. But then I stopped playing it... and now it's been so long I don't want to go back. Guess I'll start again, one day...

I swear, one time I'll start and it'll manage to suck me in... but until it clicks, I still don't entirely see what all of the fuss is about. It's probably the biggest example of me not really seeing all that much in a very highly rated game.

Just completed Watch Dogs 2. Whilst not perfect, it's the first game in an age where I've been quite sad when it's all over.

The main story is solid, with some great characters. It's not one of these 10-20 hour games once you immerse yourself in it.

Me and a friend are playing The Division on PS4. We've been going about a week, we're level 24 in the main game and 27/28 in the dark zone.

Anyone else on this game at all?

Anybody recommend which racing game to get for either the PS4 or the Xbox One?

Not played racing games for years so my knowledge of them is very small and I am struggling to decide.

I'm hardly a massive fan of racing games... I mean, I'll play them, but not that often... but:

For Xbox, Forza seems to be the pretty definitive way to go if you're after a proper racing sim type game. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's the best out there on any console. Forza Horizon 3 is the newest iteration of Forza out there... I've not played it, but I had the first Horizon and it was brilliant. It's basically a less serious, more sandbox type spin on Forza. And probably the one I'd recommend the most, albeit with my limited knowledge of the genre.

Besides that, the only other racing games I've ever really enjoyed have been Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (which was AMAZING, but is a little old now) and, of course, Mario Kart

Need for Speed Hot Persuit was a amazing game!

The last racing game I played was Need For Speed on the PSP :bg:

Think I'm going for Forza, can get it brand new for about £25 quid too.

Project Cars is an alright racer too. Glitchy when it first came out but runs well now. Currently free on Xbox with Games with Gold, so no loss to download it really!

Not until the 16th it's not.

But cheers for the reminder to get my games with gold before then!

it too a very long time for me to get into it but it just seemed to click when i got to a certain level within the game. things got easier, used to the controls and the naked women. ooooooh the naked women :)

I did the same, bought it in the last Steam sale and didn't get round to it for a while. Just finished it tonight in my 3rd sitting. Incredible game, loved it from start to finish, and I'm not even a fan of platformers. Mount Horu was a bitch mind, I think I died around 300 times in my playthrough and most of 'em were in Mount Horu

I got the definitive edition and decided to save the new areas until the end. Unfortunately when you finish the main story, that's it, end credits. Bit gutted about that but I suppose I can youtube it.

completed witcher 3 last night, what an anti-climax

i suppose it leaves it open for a witcher 4.... is it worth starting a new game plus?

still have a few witcher contracts to do as well as all the question marks on the map so it will be worth a rattle through here and there, plus the 2 expansion packs that i will keep an eye on price

also, why didnt i realise that there were 16 freebie downloads on the store including bits of kit and missions?!

so i just checked and apparently i got the bad ending for witcher 3..... meaning that both main characters are implied to have been killed

i didnt even realise that choices in the game had that effect - i am a bad person!
