Lots of things have pleased me over the last week but I'm particularly chuffed that my new camera/lens combination has arrived before our Bee Orchids went over. I've been out today snapping our wildflowers, newts, dragonflies and butterflies before a major effort on our birdlife in the coming days.

Them your pics? Terrific
I think I've just gone from someone who likes taking photos to someone who's serious about taking good photos - unfortunately that means back to school on the basics of photograhy, which I've been winging up to now.

Catching the Stones live at the Marquee on Sky Arts. Especially good after an afternoon of strawberry daiquiris with Peroni chasers.

Feel a bit pukey

clearing one's bowels completely.....AKA....having a damn fine shit!

I have recently been taking Tramadol for an injured knee, it's does the pain killing job splendidly, but the side effects fuck me up, the worst being constipation. So today, after seven dump free days, I have finally managed to unload and, though the relief was immense, it didn't come without its tribulations. After five minutes straining it was clear nothing was moving so solid and dry was blockage. Lubrication was clearly needed but the only thing near to hand was a tube of Lynx Peace shower gel, so a finger was liberally slathered and spread upon my tortured sphincter. The effect was dramatic and the relief instant as seven days of pasta and fibre finally voided itself, the the massive comfort of my intestines.....

I only gave that a 'like' for the last line mate.

I honestly know how you must have been/are now feeling. I'll give a short version....Many years ago I came out of hospital also having not had a shit for seven days. They were more concerned with my waterworks & I was naive as to what hadn't happened bowelwise. Anyway...got home & tried a suppository....nup, drank orange juice....nup. Ended up getting a district nurse in who gave me an enema.....nup. The ultimatum was either her or me sticking a finger up and well, shoogling it about. I opted for self insertion.....and as you say, the relief was fantastic.

We got rid of our hash-ridden neighbour down below us as he was moaning about floorboard noise so that's one of then sorted. Just need to see about the c*** upstairs now or ideally get a new house soon first.

Nothing worse than bad neighbours that don't give you a minutes peace. With us it's just one family as everyone else gets along, roll on 2 weeks on Friday when the party will start waving the ****s off! :woo:

oh I don't know.....I have no doubt that wherever she and her tribe pitch up next her new neighbours will welcome them with the same form of goodwill she instilled in the street which is leaving.....

It did nothking for me so the doc put me on Tramadol which takes some getting used to but does the job.
When I say doesn't play nice I mean being lightheaded as fuck and having to lie down for 3 hours to stop myself from puking. I don't think Tramadol would help very much in that respect.
