At first glance I thought that was a portaloo. Slightly disappointed
I was going to post asking if that is what is called a portagrotto!
Why would that happen?
Those characters weren't in Captain Pugwash or anything at all.
Really, OMG....is that correct ?

We were once sponsored by our own website:

peterboro-10-home-close.jpg

That Gillingham shirt is excellent. :fl:
For a few months of the 1989/90 season, after spending the first half of the season with no sponsor, we stuck MILLWALL on the front of our shirts.

Much of this stuff belongs in the fabulous tinpot thread.

Giving Oxford 2800 tickets when all they gave us was 1200. Fuck the money.

Swindon/Oxford fans if you want to bend each other backwards then make your own thread where we don't have to read your dribble about who can take what where.

Thank you

So you just delete my posts then?

What happened to freedom of speech and the right to reply? I was replying to the swindon fan's comment about the away allocation, and I see you've left his post alone. This thread is only one and a half pages long, I don't think it's in danger of being full up just yet………..

This calls for an A420 version of the infamous cauldron of hatred/we don't really see us as rivals Vale-Crewe thread!

Our raffles that offer cars as prizes can be a little hard to take, except if you are the wife of a directer like, then they are easy to take!!

I was there for a 1-1 friendly a few years back under Peter Taylor when the tombola went over at half time, raffle tickets everywhere all over the pitch

How do you follow up the Blackburn and Accrington examples?

Can't think of too many cringeworthy things the club has done over the years, aside from Denzil's "Millwall" shirt example, although that's more tinpot than cringey. Most of our supporters don't buy merchandise because merchandise in itself is a bit naff, so the club have spent most of their design budget on making the official clothes line look more like something you might find at a high street retailer.

Charlton have given fans a chance to enjoy matches at The Valley with all the comfort of being at home with their Fan Sofa.

The Addicks took on Huddersfield on Tuesday night and another three lucky fans were able to take in the Sky Bet Championship game in from the sofa, with the action all within touching distance.

Fans are selected on the big screen with one supporter chosen after displaying some enthusiastic dancing while music was played pre-match.

My phone wouldn't let me upload a pic for some reason so this quote will have to do.

Playing Captain Pugwash when we score. I know many think Fleetwood are tinpot but this really is tinpotness.

Playing music when you score full stop.

We play "Glad all over" & it's sh1te, the only saving grace is this season we've hardly heard it :( (except against Charlton)

Isnt that a Palace song? If so, even more cringeworthy.

That reminds me. Palace Ultras.

Palace in general really. Ultras, cheerleaders, that eagle, goal music. Do they still do that thing after they score when announcing the goal scorer?

Used to go something like:

Announcer: Glenn!

Fans: Murray!

Announcer: Glenn , who!?

Fans: Murray!!!

They are the epitomy of cringeworthy.

They are also an established Premier League side whilst Charlton are rotting in the lower leagues.

And have probably the best home atmosphere i've heard in recent years.

Yes, because being in the lower leagues is cringeworthy.

Your dislike for Charlton is becoming quite sweet but try as you might, I will never care about Bury.

Can't deny they create a good atmosphere, depends what you like though. I personally can't stand all that European rubbish and the completely manufactured atmosphere.
