You did that with Suarez and won one League Cup.
Different player, potentially different outcomes. Its all theoretical anyway, its obvious from his own body language he regrets joining the Gunners.

Maybe he does, but certainly not over Liverpool.

I know what you are saying but Liverpool at least managed to look like they might win the title with Suarez and came close to doing it - the inevitability of stumbling to a third/fourth place finish every single season must be demoralising for a player of Sanchez's ability/ambition.

IMO if Sanchez had gone to Liverpool and not us, Liverpool would have come closer to winning the league than we have.

Neymar eyes Liverpool move.

Neymar - I'd like to play in the Premier League, and I admire Liverpool.

Is he gonna be a Liverpool player while he's banged up in a Spanish prison then?

Noooo Ake don't do it :( We need him back!

Not entirely sure what his best position is but he'd be a cracking addition both short and long term for Saints.

Seems to be a number of rumours with Ox and Liverpool. I'd take him for sure, he's a cracking player when fit.

For 35 mil player who has 1 year left on his contract? I would pay no more than 15 mil.

Yeah it is a bit steep for 1 year remaining. Arsenal would probably accept 25 mill though. Probably not going to happen anyway but he's one of the only Arsenal players I like and who think would kick us on.

Yeah I think he's at the stage where is ready to kick on and start to truly fulfil his potential. I agree that if he stays under Wenger then that may not happen but if Wenger does go I think he'll become one of your very best players with a new manager who might be able to get the best out of him.

He has struggled with the pressure a lot, but I still like Oxlade-Chamberlain as a player and think it would be a mistake to let him go at just 23 years old. Just as with most of our good players, though, I can't see him being fulfilling his potential any more under Arsene Wenger. The days of players improving after joining us are gone - someone on Twitter asked if anyone could think of a single signing who had done that in the last three years and I couldn't think of one.

So really it doesn't make a difference if he leaves for Liverpool - either he stays here and continues to struggle or goes elsewhere. The best case scenario is a new manager gets the best out of him. I think he'd do well at Liverpool and that would be a shame for us but it's probably for the best for him, because it looks like Wenger isn't going anywhere.
You ok mate?

Everton also being linked with Steve Cook by tabloids. He's had a defensively good, more solid than usual 6 months, but he's always more ball player than 'defensive rock'. I'd be surprised if anyone would offer what we'd ask, seeing as he's fundamental to our whole playmaking from defence system.

And I thought us being linked with him and Keane from Burnley for 50odd million for the pair was a bit high

We should look at £60m at the least for Van Dijk with those prices.
