Blades have signed Evans, complete waste of money.

I've had one of them telling me they are having Chinese investment and Tammy Abraham and Marcus Maddison are signing for them though? Evans is a ridiculous signing not one I can see Wilder being behind.

Who does he play for ? Been on loan at you hasn't he
Chelsea, 19 years old and scored 26 this season, great chance of getting him down the lane next season I reckon pal.

Not a prayer of signing full time could get him on loan I suppose, if you managed it then we could

 I was joking, could you fuck!

Some of our fans are optimistically praying he comes back but there's no chance really mate, he's much better than this division.

We asked about signing him permanently in January and they were having none of it, Conte rates him very, very highly.

A more realistic shout but you already have a load of strikers, not sure you'd need him!

Reckon he might end up at Brighton, Walkley reckons he's going abroad though.

Could see him going to an Ajax or Lyon type club abroad be a good move especially if he's playing European football as well. Surely they aren't going to send him to that Dutch feeder club they've got?

The signing of Ched doesn't scream ambition. A bloke who hasnt really done it above League One and looked past his best last season. Seems more like one of those sentimental signings that fans will lap up.

Will have to wait and see I suppose but thinks there's far better options out there.

Crikey, Tammy's going to be busy, so far I've read he's signing for us (no chance), Villa (90% certain supposedly), Leicester, Wolves, Sheff Utd, Sheff Weds, Everton, West Brom, Fenerbahce, Brighton and Stoke.
He's gonna be knackered!! :eyes:

I can't knock that TBH. We just weren't interested yesterday and you most certainly were.
Tammy's gone already actually, he's in Dubai. :(

A few whispers that we've got some backing this summer, possibly from Qatar. Just hope if we do, we use it right and target the right players.

Absolutely would take him in an instant. Possibly not as our main striker for next season as I'd imagine the club will be after at least one striker proven at a higher level, but as an option for sure.

Seems perfectly logical that Chelsea would want to loan him out to a lower Prem club to see if he can make the step up - though I know the likes of Bamford have shown sometimes another season at the same level might actually be beneficial - so it's a realistic/likely target.

Was very impressed with him in the recent game at the Amex and his finishing is some of the best I've seen at this level, especially for someone so young.

We shall soon see won't we.

I actually think Evans could do very well in this league. Before he went to prison he was a lethal striker, If he can get back to his best he is a bargain for 500k

But if he does get to that level then he will be an asset for us. He's cost fuck all anyway. 250k plus add ons rising to 500k at maximum so it's worth a gamble.

Worst case scenario they've lost 500k. We spent 1m on Paul Gladon in August, a striker who has played 79 minutes of football for us all season. I'd say he's definately worth the risk, 500k is nothing these days.

Anyway...

Enda Stevens, left-back from Portsmouth sounds like he's signing on a free transfer. Got their player of the season last two seasons and their fans ain't happy, obviously biased but some seem to reckon he's the best lb outside the prem. Either way, doesn't sounds like a bad punt on a free. Put an Enda the Ched discussion too.
