A few sources are linking us with Loic Remy.

The same sources that linked us with Kenneth "Who the fuck are Wolverhampton?" Ormeruo? :bg:

Meanwhile, Watkins is a good signing, if true, for Brentford. And I think they got the onomatopoeic Maupay. I'm hoping Wolves can consider signing Brentford's entire scouting team.
Still hoping for Erhun Oztumer from Walsall, though. I mean he plies his trade just a short bloody bus-ride from Fosun Mansions.

Rhodes will bang in 20+ this season if we keep feeding him like we have in pre season, albeit against weaker opposition. Our forward options really are ridiculous.

That'll be an improvement on his massive three goals last season then. A goal every seven hours on the pitch.

Compared to our elderly midfielder Dave Edwards who scored 10....or one every 6 1/2 hours. But a lot less money. :bg1:

(But agree, you've an impressive choice up front)

Ha, think the summer pre season will help no end and if we return to the 15/16 football style as opposed to the shackles of last season I can see him being a "certified batsman" again.

I'd actually back him to outscore Fat Billy and any other United you care to name (combined) for a £20 charity bet?

I may as well just give £20 to charity now. If Rhodes hits form he's a guaranteed 20 goal plus man.

No. More than Dicko, Bodvarsson and Enobakhare combined. We employ strikers mainly to keep the grass short in the penalty area and to run around looking busy. It distracts defenders who are going "WTF are you doing on the pitch?". Allowing Dangerous Dave to creep up unseen.

If.

I agree, Most of these rumours are crap and aren't worth the paper they're written on. I'm hoping of all the strikers we are linked with that Afobe is the one with any credability.

It's gone a bit quiet lately though (not signing a player every 3 days is quiet for Wolves). Realitiscally we need 2 strikers before the start of the season. With Bodvarsson going, I can see Enobakhare being loaned out too.

We've enquired about Jon Toral from Arsenal apparently. Looked decent with Brum a few seasons ago from the minimal amount I saw of him, don't think he got up to much at Rangers last year though.

If there's any Blues about, thoughts on him?

Far too hit & miss for me, he'd have one good game in 4 for us, and when he wasn't at it he may as well have been at home.

Unquestionable talent, much questionable attitude/application.

Ollie Watkins having a medical.

Once that's complete, need to cut the phone lines and just do our best to hold on to the squad. New contracts for Vibe, Bjelland, Dean and Jota will be top of the agenda

Scored in the Merseyside derby didn't he?
Fulham are signing winger Sheyi Ojo from Liverpool on loan apparently.

I'm watching the Jablonec game being streamed onto Wolves website. 27 minutes and I don't think we've had a single strike on goal. Or anywhere else. one shot. Enobakhare and Dicko look ineffective. With them on the ball, it looks like 7 across the back. I won't be putting any money on us on the 5th.

To be fair, Boly and Douglas are working well together on the left, but nothing moving on the right side. Batth looks out of his depth. But the ball skills of the new players is very impressive.

Can't believe there's not a lot more of you all watching this Wolves Jablonec game. Fucking rivetting. Wolves must be one of the only Championship sides able to have a 3 on 1 situation going forward and then hold the ball up long enough for them to get 8 behind the ball.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Tommy Elphick, I know Villa haven't taken to him but we think he's awesome in the Championship. Reportidly off across town to Birmingham.

Tbf I'd take him back here as backup, but he left in the first place because he wants football, which obviously didn't really work out at Villa.

Vito Mannone set to arrive as our new keeper.

Linked with Sone Aluko and Jordan Hugil.

I hope he stays but all these clubs being linked with Hugill can only be good for us. Hopefully it means a bidding war.

Thankfully the Sone Aluko rumour only comes from HITC. Don't see why would we want him.

You did it with us last year with laovery( who I think will be on his way by january), if villa don't want him it doesn't matter. Now selling an important player to your rivals is unforgivable and virtually never ever happens. Rovers did it last year with bristol city I don't think it went down too well.

We didn't, we offered him a contract so we could get a fee when he decided to turn it down, he would never have made the team again sadly.

I'm not so sure he will make ours either, hope I'm wrong because if he does he must be doing something right. Certainly a player that gives it his all

We activated Taylor's release clause and the meltdown was incredible. Stole their top man for £300k.
