It's ok they're replacing him with Francesco Totti....
He'll be a good addition to go with Buffon, chose Leeds over Juventus if you hadn't already seen.

So we've got a decent keeper now, so many more additions to make. I don't think we even have any forwards left.

Read you have pulled out of the deal due to fitness concerns.

Stoke seem to have been busy - 4/5 signings in a day.

TWTD saying you've put £30m price tag on his head.

Wouldn't mind our profit coming from that, we could do with it considering our current strategy is bosmans and frees...

Da Silva announced. 2m, 4 year deal.

Kalas next. Szmodics has signed also, turned down Leeds apparently so we must’ve offered decent money.

Excellent signing!
Bentley too by all accounts.
If we get Kalas and a decent front man, we would suddenly look pretty damn good! :)
I don't know too much about the lad from Colchester but, it appears, every man and his dog were after him which has to be a positive.

Palmer dropped a hint he’s signing also on Instagram, would be the cherry on top.

Want a Nuhiu, Winnall or a Rhodes?
No thanks although some numpty on our forum has suggested Rhodes! :ffs:
Rumours are Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal but I've no idea if that's true.
We went for Assombolonga in January but I would imagine he's way out of our range wages wise.

We’re also after Nketiah but think there’s lots of interest, including abroad.

I don’t ever watch goal compilations or anything like that when we sign players as when I was younger I watched one on David Clarkson which made him look like Maradona but someone at work was showing me Nketiah’s goals at youth level and over 50% of them were mistakes on the ball from defenders like getting caught on the ball or short pass backs.

Some decent finishes though, Emery rates him as he rejected our approach last year.

Think I must have seen the same video on twitter and thought the same thing.

Think the only thing that would work in our favour is the successful dealings we’ve had with Arsenal in the past. Alex Song, Coquelin, Mavididi, Bielik off the top of my head. Think the only one that never really worked out was Frimpong.

Good movement? Right place at the right time? Applying pressure due to his pace?
I know nothing about him TBH.

Maybe mate. I’ve no opinion on him, just watching that highlight reel made me realise how many mistakes are made trying to play out from the back at a young age especially when you compare it to what we watched last season with Kalas and Webster.

Loved Frimmy and Elokobi at our place, only 2 bright sparks of that shit season. Think he's in Finland or something now...

Mixture of everything I suppose, some of them fell straight in to his lap and he couldn’t miss, others he read the back pass well. Some tidy finishes though. Of course, we haven’t seen a video of how often he misses those chances.

Can see why Bowyer is interested though. Pacey and bit of a nuisance and will feed off the scraps from Taylor.

Plenty of interest though I think, as I say.

Remember him doing well for Wolves which is why I was quite excited when we signed him, especially as we were a league below. He was just hopeless for us though and his career didn’t exactly take off afterwards. Think it was Russia or somewhere he ended up, that’s the last I heard.

Edit: Just looked and he’s at some Swedish club now.

Dench.

Elokobi’s a top bloke. Really well thought of at Ashton Gate and he only ever played 30 minutes for us, he looked superb against Leeds then went innocuously in front of where I was sat when the ball was out of play and he put his up in the air and his foot was facing backwards.

Horrible and terribly unfortunate injury but whenever he’s been back he’s got a better reception than most ex players do.

Add QPR to this list as we want him as well.

Bristol City are making some good signings so far. Seem to know where they need to replace and getting it done quickly.

A fair few more to come in yet Matt. Same for everyone I guess but we've returned to training today so I expect things to start to warm up now.
Tomas Kalas is the big one the fans want, he's superb!

Very quiet for us at the moment, I think we're waiting to see if any big bids do come in for Maupay or Benrahma as that'll have a big impact on our budget, and where we need to spend it.

Would be ok with the squad we have now, we've lost some good players but Norgaard fills the only major need we had right now, and we have a lot of B team players who could fill the gaps for now.
