Oh he’s from Chelsea. He must be about 16th in the pecking order.

Anyway both players are in on season long loans.

So apparently we never actually made a bid for Tom Pearce but instead we’ve been negotiating over left back/midfielder Clarke Oduor. Leeds fans seem annoyed and Mallik Wilks is happy, good enough for me.

Paterson done, season long loan. City fans, any good? Looked shite at Forest. Was decent at our place last year but can't say I've seen much.

Hamer yet to be confirmed.

He was on loan at Rotherham a couple of seasons ago and arguably their best player. Got recalled in January and sent back out to Huddersfield where he helped them gain promotion.

He was very good and linked up well with Danny Ward.
Injured a lot of the time though.

Just seen’s Hull’s business on deadline day. Lopes, Pennington, Magennis. They better hope Bowen has another big season else they’re in trouble I reckon. Proper L1 stink about those signings.

It's been a busy day for Albion. Diangana, a winger on loan from West Ham, started some matches for them last season in the Prem and seems very highly rated; Pereira, a winger from Sporting, and apparently Bilic's number 1 target this window; Willock, another winger/attacking midfielder, ex-Arsenal, on loan from Benfica; and Charlie Austin, in a £4m permanent deal from Saints.

On the flanks we've already got Phillips who is one of the best attacking players in the league, and Edwards who has stepped up from the youth and looked very good against Forest. We've got more attacking options now than we've had for a few years.

I believe we're going to be much stronger this season than last and really fancy our chances of going one better and winning promotion.

It's going to be an exciting season one way or another.

A great transfer window that counts you out of a promotion challenge. Sounds fucking wonderful , let us know how you spend the profits personally mate.
I genuinely don’t understand this profits stuff you / this forum keep throwing at me / Brentford. We may make a transfer profit, but we still lose money each year. Our bigger budgets are funded by selling players, what’s so hard to understand??

The reason we are weak up top is shitty agents screwing over deals at the last second. We couldn’t keep Maupay, it was never going to happen.

We’ve brought in 21 year old Austrian striker Patrick Schmidt from Admira Wacker. Looks decent.

Very happy with our business this window.

Having missed out on Scott Carson we have signed a goalkeeper from Greece, making that six first team goalkeepers on our books (though we did loan one out)

Consistently inconsistent. Frustrating player.

Greg Cunningham signed on loan for the season from Cardiff, pleased with that signing,He's a massive upgrade over Bell at LB.Will be an even better day when Mulgrew is confirmed as going to Wigan, hes well past it now, that will be an addition by subtraction for our defence.

Afobe was a good signing for you at the end, happy with him?
yeah I am mate, we can buy him at the end of the loan if we want also there’s a pre-agreed deal.

His best days certainly weren’t at Stoke but our fans are morons, if we’d have signed Woods, Ince, Allen or someone like that from them they’d have all been creaming themselves and they’ve been equally as shite there.

Get him firing and he’s one of the best in the division isn't he?

Spot on pal, when on form he's up there with Mitrovic as best in the division in my opinion.

Kayal and Hemed looking like they’ll sign for Charlton. Two quality signings.

Why the fuck were you trying to sign Carson? You signed one yesterday, one the other week and still had Smith and Pantillimon on the books. You could name a team of goalkeepers.

Fuck knows. With the League 1 and 2 window as well as European window open I can see us shifting a few. We need to lose about 15 but realistically can only see 5 or 6 going.
