I've seen Curtis Tilt has been linked with a move away from Wrexham.

We've knocked back a bid from a higher league club, probably L2, for one of our players but the player wasn't interested in leaving. Probably Woodyard.

No surprise, he was always going to be the only player that anyone would be interested in. We are rumoured to be signing Ollie Shenton tomorrow, a young midfielder on loan from Stoke. He was given a 4 year contract by them last season so I'd imagine he is fairly decent.

I can see him being TOO GOOD for this division. Like that bloke Tranmere signed who has done nothing to date.

Sounds like we're close to bringing someone in but more likely for the Barrow game than Dover tomorrow.

Isn't he a defender? Don't need any of them.

A striker is what we need, and possibly another winger seen as the Cowleys don't see Muldoon as one and Ward is only on a short term loan for the time being.

He is, but better than anything you have currently. Would walk into most league two sides and a few league 1 squads. I thought of Lincoln because you have serious ambitions of promotion and are chucking some money about.

Burton and Bolton both linked with Danny Rowe I've just seen on Twitter.

Rumours we have had a monetary bid accepted but contract issues causing the deal to be stalling at the moment for a player which is assumed to be Rowe?

Potentially, shall see if he's in the starting XI tomorrow.

Any rumours on amount?

Yes, very good. Danny Cowley said in Thursday's press conference that he had discussed a bid with a player (we all assumed Alex) and he didn't want to go. He's very much the Cowleys' loyal lieutenant so now they have signed up till 2021 I can see Woodyard extending his deal.

Fair enough, sounds like we might struggle with this deal then. Hopefully money talks ( from our point of view)

And we don't need the money thanks to our cup run. If the player doesn't want to go, and it seems he doesn't, I can't see us selling.

Woodyard is like a son to the Cowleys, so I'm not sure he'll be leaving any time soon. As GB says, the player we assume as Woodyard wasn't even interested anyway so there was no decision to make.

In talks over a new deal, but he's near enough triggered another year anyway.

No, papers mentioned 100k but can't see us paying that based on our past spending, May be suprised though...

We haven't paid 100k for anyone since we were in the Championship!

Danny Rowe not in today's match day squad, looks like he's on his way, just no news of where.

Dear Stockport fans, thank you for taking Tom Denton from us, whilst he was still here there was always the temptation for our idiot manager to start picking him again. In answer to several points of your forum this morning, I really can't be bothered to register only to be banned later today so I will address them here:

1. Said in Sept when Hlfx hit money troubles that we would sign him. Also heard last week he is coming.

2. We have had lots of times when we are supposed to be signing this payer and that player and often disappointed so not holding my breath ... notbsure why they would let him go to a potential play off rival at this crucial stage?

3.Might be happy to take the money, and rely on the other 37 strikers they've signed to get them up?

4. Can't understand how Halifax keep signing all these players and how they afford it on crowds under 1,800?

5. However, would they allow their leading scorer to sign for a play off rival at this stage in the season?

6. I think their rent is about 40k per year. But with all the cash they are splashing out at the mo they have got to be really stretched.

7. He would certainly do for me, would be nice if we could attract him.

8. Halifax fans don't rate him, calling for him to be dropped, he was & they've started winning again. Might not be the dream front man people are expecting.

Answers:
1. Erm, what money troubles? We have lots of money, we could probably buy your club out.
2. Because he's shit, as you'll soon realise when you wonder who dropped that statue of Peter Crouch onto the pitch
3. WTF you talking about?
4. What players? Adam Morgan- no fee just offered him more than beer money, Chris Nti- loan, Ales Simmonds- loan...anyone else?
5. I refer the right honourable gentlemen to answer number 2.
6. Splashing what cash?
7. Well........ you asked for it
8. This.

Thanks again. :bdick:

Now all you have to hope for is that whoever on the Stockport forum you are referring to actually reads this forum.

See Ethan Pinnock was one of two players mentioned as NEXT BIG THING from non league in yet another one of them articles in the Observer.

He needs to learn how to defend first. I'm sure he's got bags of potential, but based on the last 8-9 games, he's at just about his level.
