How do you rate your transfer window business..

Some ratings in the article below from Sky Sports:

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12090/10750426/charlie-nicholas-january-transfer-window-grades-premier-league-clubs-rated

I think Cleverly will add some positive midfield play for us and Niang sounds like an exciting speedy winger/attacker.

Zárate might be a hit and miss but we lack a number 10 type of player as Pereyra is injured.

Probably won't play that much anyway if everyone is fit.

Missed opportunity/an alarming lack of ambition from those in charge for the second window again from us.

Once again we've left a window weaker than what we started with. There aren't many clubs in this league who have made as much as us in the past few years, but we're always guaranteed to be near the bottom of the net spend table.

We were told that Fonte (our captain and first team centre-back) would not be sold before a replacement was brought in. However, with the window brought to an end we've also suffered a big injury to Van Dijk, leaving us with a pairing of Stephens/Yoshida/Gardos till whenever.

Although, we have signed our third goalkeeper in two windows! I'm not expecting to ever see him play.......

One positive is Gabbiadini. A striker was needed before the window, as we had one of the best defensive lines in the league, but we couldn't score. Now we've gone full circle and backwards once more.

OK. Got in a defensive midfielder, tick. Got in a wide man, tick. More importantly we got in a player who can deliver free-kicks and corners, where we have been lacking thus far. Would have liked a striker and/or a creative winger but reasonably happy to have replaced an injury prone and ageing midfielder and got more of a direct threat from set pieces.

Happy with ours. I've wanted us to sign Schneiderlin for years so was made up when he came in. Ademola Lookman has looked very promising in his few cameo appearances so far, and is already off the mark.

Also selling the likes of Gibson & Oviedo and getting Niasse and a bunch of kids out on loan has been really good too. Wish Koeman gave Deulofeu run of games on the wing before shipping him out, but otherwise yes it's been a good window for Everton

Brady? Free kicks are okay, but unless he's improved since leaving us his corners will rarely beat the first man.

That's a tad worrying. Can't be any worse than our other players at corners though. He's a left footer, so if nothing else it will vary our corners as our other players are predominantly right footed. IF he can beat the first man, that is.

There was a transfer window?

Chelsea recalling Ake to sit on their bench was a blow, failing to land Begovic because Chelsea couldn't sign a replacement was another blow. Ultimately the failure to have any other targets lined up is all our own doing.

The more I hear about the lad Ramsdale I more I like, but we've needed better 'here and now' starting 11 players for months and January did nothing to address that. We've also ended up a forward short after Wilson got injured hours after the window shut. But scoring goals isn't our issue, as gutted as I am for Wilson, I don't think it'll hugely affect us overall.

At the end of the day, I can't see you signing him simply for his corners. He's a big improvement on what you've got in that position already. I wouldn't consider him as technically gifted as George Boyd, but he's certainly more mobile.

I maybe did him a disservice saying his free kicks were only 'okay'... Great goal!
