Huge game coming up at the Moss on Saturday as well, a win puts us right in the play off mix. Until we then lose next Tuesday.

Never seen a group of players who's confidence is a shot as our lot at the moment. Had a bit of a go in the second half but always up against it.

Think Maidstone were quite fortunate to get a point tonight, I thought Sutton looked sharper, quicker and more confident. Stones seemed terrified to have a shot which was a bit weird, so it's no surprise they only scored from a penalty (which looked as though Loza ran straight into a Sutton man rather than actually being fouled, but that was just my angle). New stand sounded loud at times, when the other end gets sorted it'll be an atmospheric little place.

Massive, massive win for us. If we get something at Macclesfield on Saturday i'll start dreaming. Atmosphere in the East Bank 2nd half was incredible!

Jesus Christ. All going to plan first half, Moors were neat and energetic but we knocked it about, created the chances and took one. Second half Moors stick to their task but we decide to fuck around at the back and they seize one of the several opportunities we helped create. After that wouldn't have been surprised if Moors had gone on to win as we seemed to have forgotten which direction was forward. Still never say die and goal machine Doidge saves the day. Moors probably deserved more but I'm not complaining.

Sutton should have won comfortably, we barely created anything and seemed happy to knock it around their box without trying to score. We were better second half and could have nicked it when Lewis hit the bar, but that would have been very unjust. Cadogan looked very dangerous for Sutton.

Not a good time to be having a blip. It makes Saturdays game even more a must not lose, a win would be a good tonic, however we can't seem to score at the moment.

We were poor again and it was always coming. This season is a step to far for our young and inexperienced squad. Be surprised if we make the play offs now.

Would rather have this season over Yorks.

Agreed. Still, it would be a real shame to throw it all away now after all the hard work.

We need to freshen it up Saturday. Howell, Romain and possibly Staunton deserve a start.

I decided to go to Braintree last night for one final go at trying to see us win there and somehow it actually happened.

Deserved to win. Went behind having been the better side but Delano Sam-Yorke quickly equalised and then he scored such a good goal, beating two Braintree players and firing high into the net. That was the best I've ever seen DSY play. He was excellent in the first-half. Thanks Maidstone. Murtagh then got the third in the second half.

Massive result. Saturday at home to Maidstone is now Giganotosaurus Rex. Last minute winner from DSY, obviously.

Every single York fan would agree.
The difference of you having a decent manager compared to the idiot McNamara is unbelievable, wish we got Mills in a month earlier cause don't think we will make it.
Saturday at yours will define our season,we are on a good run but don't seem to closing points gap only getting closer to more teams.
Plus our game in hand is Macclesfield away next Tuesday

We're currently terrible and I don't see us beating you at present. We have no midfield so if you have a decent midfield it will be an easy three points.

I think you might just do it. Good luck.

  • Much improved team guisely this season, and thought a draw was fair last night, nice to see the Lincoln wheels coming off, we have got to keep on digging out results, as tranmere, f green and Lincoln are assured, 2 places up for grabs, off to not sunny eastleigh at weekend

Went last night, and very much regretting it this morning.

The rotation has to stop. None of this fatigue crap now, pick an XI to go forward and stick with it. We looked like 11 strangers playing with each other for the first time last night. I don't understand what the likes of Whitehouse bring to the team, I haven't seen him have a good game for three months now.

Boreham Wood's gameplan worked perfectly, all they did was defend for the first half and wait for the moment our centre-backs fell asleep and that was it. We've completely forgotten how to score at the wrong time.

Title race is back on, only have ourselves to blame. If we lose on Saturday then FGR are huge favourites with their run-in.

I wish you'd got Mills in the summer.

Tranmere still better placed than us though and of course it's in Lincoln's own hands. I reckon it's all working towards a final game at Bootham Crescent where us and York both need the win though. Then Parkin trundles on...

ebbsfleet 7-0 up 8-0 up
maidenhead 6-1 up

Dartford also won 4-0, while Welling lost 7-3 at Eastbourne!

Crazy night! We looked like scoring everytime we went forward. Stortford play Maidenhead Saturday so am expecting another big loss for them.

With their 5-0 drubbing of Dover then beating Lincoln 2-0 last night it makes our 0-0 bore draw on Saturday a very good point. Wood were much better on Saturday than when they played at ours, they seem to be back in form right now.
I'm absolutely delighted with our point away at Gateshead last night, i really feared we'd get nothing.

They burst our preseason bubble at theirs too so only fair they gubbed Lincoln too. Away at Guiseley is going to be tougher than expected, perhaps we'll have to activate Agent Maxted for those three flaps he owes us.
Maxted has been our signing of the season in my opinion. He's saved us many points with some superb saves. Russell must be incredible!

I think the reason why maxted was always number two was because he's not the best with the ball at his feet, sometimes we rely on Russell being another centre back almost and he gets a lot of touches, was very unfortunate with maxted, glad he's doing well though!
