I’m curious to know what the criteria is for entry into this sack of shit.
So did Wrexham and Solihull actually apply to go into it or are you just forced into it due to league positions last season?

As far as I know we were forced. It's your reward for failing to get promoted. The Insult to Injury cup.

I am sure we were only invited to enter it, not sure if we were obligated to. Ultimately i am sure we could have declined, but our manager saw it as a chance to win something

Pretty sure Motherwell like signing strikers from this league.

Remember when Inverness used to stock up on about 20 non league players every transfer window? They even signed a lad from Kendal who wasn't even wanted by any of the bigger Cumbrian clubs. Liam Hughes was also there and he was dreadful at this level.

Motherwell signed Bevis Mugabi this week. That's 4 of our squad from last season who now play in the SPL. Our squad that finished bottom of the EFL.

Remember Rangers signed our 2nd choice goalkeeper last season... and apparently paid an undisclosed fee for him..

How dare you, I won’t have a bad word said about Hughesy. ;-) He may have had the touch of a nonce but he had the heart of a lion and his opening goal for us at Wembley is probably the most important for us in the last 20-odd years. He’s a legend in our part of the world.

By the way, if we were still in the Conference and qualified this I’d be well up for playing the likes of Ayr or Kelty. Though it’s a kick in the teeth getting an U21 side.

Any of the Scottish sides away (except Rangers U21 of course) would be a cracking draw and we’ll worth a weekend away.

They are playing Rangers U21 aren't they? Something to do with Scotland U21 call ups I think.
It is that.

Straightforward win for us, St. Mirren's youth weren't up to much at all. Hopefully Tollitt gains some confidence after a tidy goal and winning a penalty.

I'm following Wales in Baku for the next round so I'm hoping for an easy home tie. Would be gutted to miss out on the Scottish away day.

It was all they ever did.

I've just had a look at their squad and I see that Carl Tremarco is their captain. With him and Jordan White on their books they're definitely getting the 'Wrexham rejects' treatment if we draw them.

There is a semi final and final after this, you sound as though we are already through to the semi's?!
Not the tie I wanted either, to be honest I wouldnt mind losing to Rangers and bowing out of this novelty.

Come on lad, we lost at home to Chesterfield last night.

We have a slim chance if we play the kids again.

ah well lost on penalties, :fart::sur: Enjoy your trip to Glasgow.
No sour grapes, but rather the FA cup and League.
Good luck Wrexham, represent England well and bring it home.

It'll probably be played at Partick Thistle or somewhere like that.
