Looking like two from Yeovil down, although they're probably only 4 or 5 points off safety.

Newport are 11 adrift with a poor GD albeit a game in hand. Orient currently looking like the other side to be relegated. Cheltenham have pulled away over the last couple of weeks but aren't quite safe yet.

National League North
AFC Fylde are 11 points ahead of 2nd placed Salford but the PO's are much tighter with only 10 points separating 2nd to 11th.

National League South

Currently a two-horse race for the title between Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead who both have weirdly similar records in all areas.

Dartford, Chelmsford, Poole and Hungerford look to be the ones fighting for the other three PO places.

I'd be very surprised if the.bottom two in Division Four don't stay the same, and also if Ebbsfleet don't win the South. If we stay up and gain them and Dartford... fun times next season.

I'd like Stockport back too. Arguably the unluckiest fans in English football over the past decade, and they would probably boost our budget by an extra £30k since they usually bring 2000 fans to our ground.

Good thinking by Maidstone to field 2 sides this season, one in each division. That way if they go down they might well replace themselves.

Do you fancy doing the same but for the teams going into the Conference South? Just so I can get excited already.

I'm already looking forward to Newport coming back down for the chance to meet at them.

I'd also like to see Stockport come back up. Failing that Kidderminster for their pies.

If we're still down here would like to see Maidenhead, Hungerford, Fylde and most of all KIDDY come up.

Having a trip to Kiddy again would help make up for the disappointment of not going up.

If we stay up then I want Notts County down and one of Kiddy and Stockport up. They're the teams that feel like the biggest names and I want to savour any time spent up with the non-league big boys

Give over, we're not a small club. If we can stay up this year we'll be set for a while before aiming up rather than down.

Awww another one

But seriously, unless Eustace changes something when we're playing away from home we won't be joining the National League next season.

I'd actually like you and Stockport to come up, good sides with good fans, but unless Fylde go bust all of a sudden I can't see that happening!

Fylde are basically guaranteed promotion unless they well and truly capitulate but with their attack I can't see that happening.

From a selfish point of view if we don't go up I'd like to see the money bags leaving the North.

That may be true, but i'd rather treat every season like it's our last and enjoy playing teams people have heard of until we have a season where we don't have a relegation scrap. That's when I'll feel like we've proven we belong

One season too early for us I think, unless we get someone in who can put away the numerous chances we create or Lloyd rediscovers his scoring boots. From a purely selfish point of view if we don't go up I'd want Fylde and Salford up as they're only going to buy their way up next season anyway.

I'd like Alfreton back

Said no one ever

Actually, I wouldnt mind Alfreton coming back up, although that is mainly because in 4 games against them we scored 11 goals and won 3 of them!

In terms of down from league 2, I wouldnt mind swapping Notts County for Orient although the current bottom 2 would be fine as both are southern based.

From the south, Maidenhead would be good for us. North looks like Fylde will win it. Hopefully Kidderminster will win the playoffs!

I also wouldn't mind if Tamworth came back up, solely because of Andy Morrell.

Newport and Accrington coming down would go a long way to restoring the Natural Order. Hopefully Lincoln and Tranmere go up.

I think you're a bit confused as to what the Natural Order is, probably due to being an historical tinpotter.

South's not quite as clear cut as the above as Poole and Hungerford are having to invest a lot of money to get their grounds up to Conny Sarf standard, yet alone ready to compete in the playoffs. League rules state that if they can't compete in it then it will go down to the team in 7th which throws open the possibility for a host of other clubs, ourselves included and I know it's a fact that you'd all like us promoted really.

Imagine a scenario where Maidenhead do an Ebbsfleet, and it's you and Fleet who go up though. Would there even be a point in making a Conny Sarth thread next year?

Don't be jealous of the little guys as some point you will eventually get out of this league. Enjoy the conference north when you do.
