Must win. We were so bad at their place that for the only time I recall we compensated the fans who went!

Different side now though in personell so hopefully we can lay that ghost. Another cup final and hopefully the rare week off sees us rested and with our injuries clearing up.

With the exception of Southend we've been pretty decent recently. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a point

We haven't lost many at home in the past two years but we have won three league games since Early November (all be it two in the last three at home) so a point wouldn't surprise anyone. Problem is we are awful away and of our 8 games left only three at home... tomorrow, Blades and Bolton so tomorrow is pretty much a do or die for us to have a chance IMO.

Shodipo is back which is good, Streete and Knops should return and the half crocked side against MK last week has had a week to get fitness back so hoping we can get the energy levels back.

Hope the ref is strong enough to stand up to Wimbledon's way of playing.

Wimbledon are a decent team, but we will want it more.

2-1
Eagle's and Smith

Hoping Thomas and Guy are fit! If we can get a few back I feel our strongest XI is easily strong enough to survive. Issue is we haven't been able to play our best XI in months. Well at all considering so many signed in the window.

Streete being fit or not I'd play Bikey against their physical front line. He was superb when he came on for his debut and is an absolute monster! (Although not sure if that's just weight from not playing or actual beast mode!)

Mehmet

Purkiss
Bikey
Smith
Knops

Thomas/Eagles
Foley
Pugh
Shopido

Forrester
Hooper

If we can get that XI out il be happy! Or close to it. Not sure who is back and who isn't though. Two wingers, one with pace, one with quality and experience, an experienced quality holding midfielder aside the engine of Foley. Centre half who's one of best youngsters in the division aside an experienced vocal partner and well the centre halves are what they are.

Four points from today and Tuesday would set up a massive game at Chesterfield next weekend and that has to be our aim. Rochdale away be tough but if we can win this and point there would be huge.

Believe AFC are very physical so need to be up for it.

Only two off the side I put up there! Shopido misses out for Ryan Taylor so an ancient midfield which is a poor decision. Big Reg in for Forrester.

The enigma that is Big Reg may be interesting at least. The Dons back line won't know what he is going to do... problem is neither does Reg! His cult status will get the fans going at least.

Good first half that, should have more goals having hit the post and reg with his one and one among a few very good chances. Dons look dangerous in the air going forward though.

Their back line looks slow and when we run at them we are getting joy. Need that second though.

Nice routine but huge win! Eagles was class, Bikey was a beast! Poor Elliott is probably still picking his body parts of the pitch after trying to physically challenge him!

Eagles wins goal of the day :) oddly did the same first half after a dazzling run but hit the post and bounced out! Class act today and seems to finally be recovering his career after his devastating personal loss.

Very impressed and said on OVF ages ago that as harsh as it is, whilst Smith and Streete are great individually they needed an experienced head in the back line and we see the benefits of that.

He won everything and then got rid of the danger, he absolutely drilled a clearance right onto Big Regs chest 60 yards away at one point.

Elliott bullied us and battered us at their place and caused us problems yesterday apart from when he was up against Bikey who smashed him second half going for a physical dual which resulted in the break and goal! Absolute monster and something we've lacked for a few seasons now.

The scary thing about Bikey is he isn't even fit yet and shouldn't be playing!

We've gone two and a half games without conceding which is something that we've needed to be doing but haven't. In the main yesterday we did well against a good forward line and other than Mehmets spill which he recovered on the goal line and the one on one they put wide we did well.
