Loving the post from the Crewe clown...unlucky son

Needs the money from our following at their place.

On a side note... Louis Dodds, great finish, class man. Got a great reception as he should after 8 decent years with us and didn't celebrate and went over to the Vale fans at the end. A loyal servant and a very good one at that to this club.

Our second goal was a great team goal too, the passing on the left flank then ball by Eagles to allow the cross and finish by Taylor. Very pleasing to see.

Chris Eagles has been a revelation, at first he was unfit and struggled but he's become classier now he's fit and has won man of the match a few times. Hopefully he's finally settled after his personal tragedy with his baby and we seem to be getting back the Eagles of old rather than the one struggling at Bury and Stanley.

Coventry and MK at home follow this and if we can get at least four points we will have the 50 point mark in sight. Two wins and we are almost there heading to Chesterfield.

Atmosphere in the Paddock was quality last night, the topless blokes cheerleading got it going and the fans are doing their part that are in attendance and more of that until the end of the season will be a huge boost.

Proud of the boys at the moment and believe we can stay up. Whatever happens I love this club, as they say it's like a marriage being a lower league fan... sometimes you don't like them, sometimes they hurt you but deep down you always love them.

Great post VF16... like you i love my club and we all say daft things and make out it is the end of the world..myself included..the feel good factor this morning is amazing...feels like we are totally galvanised all of a sudden. Got to simply propel this to Tuesday which we didn,t do after Swindon.

Got sick of the Dodds haters from Vale, he goes missing, he plays well one in 5 blah blah blah..Louis Dodds GUARANTEED at least 6 goals a season from midfield.
Like most in this division he has off days and does naff all, hence reason despite scoring 10 for Shrews he has not been a total regular starter.
He is sadly missed by us and also from what you hear is missed in the dressing room.
Showed class on and off the pitch last night and am just glad he wasn't on earlier.
Am sure he will get a bag load of goals next season in League 2 :fish:
