Start of a very tough run against teams who will be up there fighting for promotion. Both teams on a decent run, and both teams who play decent football. Hopefully we’ve got McGinn back to give us that extra drive that we missed against blues. It’s a game we really could do with winning, as if results go against us, we could be 3 wins away from entering the play offs, which might not sound a lot, but it’s a tough league to crack when you start falling behind the front runners. Hopefully we play with a bit more calmness now that the blues game is out the way. Villa 2.1 Forest, 32701(2589)

Villa two goals disallowed in last 8 minutes. Only team to let me down in a fourfold with PSG, West Brom and Stoke, only team odds on in that acca. Wankers.

Seriously though, what a game. Imagine being a Villa fan in that last 8 minutes or so and thinking you’ve snatched it twice but then also on the other foot what a last few minutes for the Forest fans who made the trip, get to properly take the piss not once but twice.

Best league in the world, can’t wait to be back next season.

Apparently Villa had 26 shots on goal to Forest's 8 but Forest scored from all of their only 5 shots on target!

It's a common excuse managers make when they moan they were hard done by by saying their goalie didn't have a save to make, but it seems in the case of last night's game it was valid.

What I love about the Championship is that it is wide open, ridiculous scores, goals, angry managers, thugs posing as Staffordshire police, scandal, great crowds, plenty of bling, passion, pies at Bramall Lane. Everything. Up in the PL we just have money. And croissants with two different types of smoked salmon. Fulham miss it so much, they bought a return ticket.
