668 minutes without conceding, 7 straight clean sheets, 10 games unbeaten - will it all end at the Bescot?
Confidently I'll say no, despite Walsall's excellent start, 0-2 away win.
The back 5 will be unchanged, Reid and McMahon will play left and right, but centrally is less predictable. Evans and Knott's energy were just what was needed to stifle Coventry, but PP may go for the better defensively Liddle away from home as he did last Saturday at Scunthorpe, two of those three will complete the midfield. Upfront Billy Clarke will start, partnered either by Bowery or Hanson. Bowery was great last weekend but was then rested on Tuesday for the fit again Hanson - I imagine the latter will get the nod because PP loves the guy despite us seemingly playing better and scoring more goals when he's not on the pitch (he went off injured against Aldershot, 0-0, game finished 2-0, didn't play at Scunthorpe, won 2-0, played against Cov, drew 0-0, harsh maybe but factually correct over those games).

I've taken BCFC's advise, and I've decided to go to more games - starting with this one. [chortle]

I'm not confident. We can't keep the run going forever, and we don't have a great record against Walsall.

Knott has to start alongside Evans, for me. Bowery should also start in place of Hanson.

1-1 - Reid

1,271 (371 OFFISHIALLY) City.

Our annual winter slump could be underway and Bradford are just the kind of side we will struggle with in the air and from set pieces. Never fancy us at home, especially against teams with a good defensive record, although with Walsall being Walsall it wouldn't be a surprise if we take 1 point from Sheffield United and Swindon, but then beat an in form Bradford. Who knows. We can but live in hope. But I fear for us in this one.

1-3 Bradford.

Bradshaw with our goal.

Looking forward to this, one of my favourite away days. Few beers in Walsall before watching a hard fought 1-0 away win, then off out in Birmingham after the game.

Great win that is. Sounds like the least we have created for 2-3 games and yet we won.

Walsall had 2 shots on goal and won. As poor as we were, Walsalls keeper won that for them.

In fairness it's about time we won after creating nothing. We hammered Swindon midweek and lost, could have been 3 up at home to the Blades last week but missed them all. We deserve a close win where our keeper or a last ditch block wins it for us.

Great win with Cov, Wigan and Gills drawing.

Deserved that win because of the two great performances in the two games prior that only got us 1 point. Played average today and got the winner thanks to hard work and determination - horrible and tense game to witness, but the win just feels amazing.

Not sure how we ended up with more cards than Bradford though, they were proper going in hard on us, a few very tasty late and high challenges on our lads by them - ref bottled it, cares more about dolling out yellows to us for time wasting than to them for bad challenges. Felt Morris was quiet but solid, Milan was excellent in behind all game and Tom was his usual battling self who won a lot against some absolute lumps in defence for them.

Why do Walsall let Aston Villa advertise season tickets on that massive billboard outside the ground?
