I guess that's the only real benefit of relegation

Is there any Rovrum fans here anymore?

Barring a bad run of form we also should be here next season

Great a southern league one and we're more than likely to be in league 2

As well as Portsmouth. League 1 looking a lot more southern next year.
Indeed. One consolation about us coming down is how many decent away games we'll have.

Rovers (I won't manage tickets for that), Plymouth, Oxford, Pompey etc, and hopefully Swindon.

Decent southern games, best games we looked forward to whilst we were back up here were London away days, even Cardiff is shit nowadays.

The return of natural power as we head back to the Championship and Rotherham return to the doldrums of league 2.

Back down to our rightful place so i can't complain too much we had 2 successful seasons against way bigger fish in the championship but wage budgets eventually shines through after so long and it won't be long before you see Burton back down here as well.

Don't think we'll do a Blackpool but i don't think we'll bounce straight back up either. We have some good players for league 1 like Jon Taylor, Richard O'Donnell, Lee Frecklington, Joe Newell, and Anthony Forde who are contracted to next season so I think we will be too strong to go down imo especially if Ward, Clarke-Harris and Smallwood sign new deals.

Seventeen points is absolutely pathetic, small budget or no.

Doesn't matter they are far bigger than Millwall (quote taken from the SERNWA book of football quotes)

Was certain I checked the table about 3 days ago and Pompey were well clear, low and behold they're suddenly in a position to bottle it.

They only made it into the top three about a week ago, and prior to that they've been outside the top three for 99% of the season.

Was thinking that myself. Hammered Colchester last week to get in the top three and lost away at in form Stevenage but remain in the top three, hardly bottling it. That would be Carlisle.

Another big reason to want promotion this season.

Joe Newell isn't very good being kicked to death on a cold Tuesday night in Bury or Gilligham. Jon Taylor was a good player but is injured too often.

Why? Surely 12 months of SERNWA waffling on about how Rovrum are bigger than Bradford, Millwall, Bristol City and how Lee Frecklington is the League One version of Kaka in his prime is worth hanging around for.
He's not the only Rovrum fan with that attitude, one of the most boring clubs around and the worst rivalry we have as well. Could do without playing them tbh, but unfortunately there's a good chance we will be, can't wait for my trip to the Wembley of the North! There are not to many places that make me relieved to be from Bradford, but Rotherham is one of them.

The Championship must be looking forward to welcoming Sunderland, Hull and Middlesbrough next season. Three away days from hell.

We've got it right when it matters. We're the most in-form team in the division currently (15 points from last 18) and we're playing some good football.

We have a couple of tricky looking fixtures on paper but also some (what should be) straightforward games too.

I'm actually pretty confident we'll be visiting the New York Stadium for the first time next season, and not in a cup competition either before some smartarse makes that comment.

Sunderland isn't that bad. Been to far worse.

You not a fan of Vale Park then?

Our 'rivalry' with Rotherham was mainly because they had Steve Evans there and he was cock every time we played him, including the time he actually got his cock out in front of a female staff member at Valley Parade after we'd played Crawley. They've still got some nob fans but what team doesn't, I don't think it will be as strong now that the mordibly obese one has left them. Hopefully we'll get promoted anyway.
