Hmm, I don't think he learnt anything while playing the sport because he has little of any value to share. Pants as a manager too which I can understand with how he portrays himself on the tele.
So we have a choice ,carra the spit who won bugger all ,neville who had a fair bit of success as aplayer but failed miserably as a boss or souness who was captain of possibly the finest club side this island has ever produced greats may not be the best pundits but they know more a bout football than most imo

Neville is the best pundit out of that lot by some distance in my opinion.

By all accounts my god i give up he was a maestro

By all accounts as in by the time I was seeing him in action or even heard of him he was playing for Rangers ! Hardly a fair reflection .

Just shows you that most football maestros make poor or worse managers

It bugs me way more than it should that our fans can't get the tune to This Is How It Feels by the Inspiral Carpets right.

Oh, and has anyone mentioned Lincoln's bloody air raid siren?!

Oooooooooh love the Carpets (well, I used to). I feel quite lucky that during my school days I got to experience the popularity of Oasis, Stone Roses, Charlatans, Carpets etc. I recently revisited the 'Shine' albums, which was like the 'Now that's what......' compilation for cool people :)

Yeah, I've got about half a dozen of The Shine albums too. Still listen to them every now and again.

Just recently got to see 2 of my all-time favourite bands/artistes live on consecutive days within a few miles of each other.

Jim Bob from Carter USM on the Saturday at Shepherds Bush Arena and then Stiff Little Fingers (pre-dates The Shine albums) on the Sunday at The Kentish Town Forum.

The thing that makes me angry is shielding the ball out of play. We've all seen the player 'sheperding' the ball as it goes out of play but when it dribbling out and the defender shoves his backside into the attacker annoys me. I'd change the rules so that you are only deemed in control of the ball once you have touched it. That way any shielding becomes obstruction but it wouldn't stop you running in a straight line and shepherding it out. Casey

I once went to Grimsby and you had Wagner off the X Factor doing pre match entertainment in the centre circle. Thread staying open..

When we played Southend in 2004 they had the Cheeky Girls performing pre-match!

Was embarrassing at Oldham especially as the inspirals are massive Oldham supporters
