Wanted Bolton to go down just for my own amusement at work but not too disappointed, another easy win at the Macron next season and 3 local derbies.

Barnsley had the right idea. If you’re gonna go down on the last day, then go down in style!

We lost 4-1. We didn't deserve to stay up, not only based on that performance but the whole season.

Rebuild in the summer with a decent budget and new manager and we'll see what happens.

Of course I'm disappointed to be relegated but last time out it did the club a world of good until our squad was ripped to shreds, need to learn from that lesson for next time.

Just wondering how you'd felt if Forest had equalised in the dying seconds? Relieved, embarrassed, highly amused to stay up with 41 points, or any combination from the above?

In the last 14 seasons at this level (including this one) just 43 points would have kept you up in 7 of them and 42 would see you safe in 4 of the last 7 seasons so this whole harping on about this season being stand out shite is just nonsense really as it's clearly just been pretty much par for the course.

Depends on if you look at it from the perspective of the 21st or 22nd place team. In 9 of the last 14 seasons, looking at it from the point of view of the 22nd team (the one looking to stay up), 50+ points has been needed to guarantee safety, and 49+ points has been needed in 4 of the last 7 seasons. I would say this season has been exceptional as not only like I said, a record has been broken for fewest number of points to stay up, but I don't think I've seen such a poor one for the teams at the bottom, with no team in the whole of the top six managing to average more than one point per game and a goal difference average of -30.

Getting comfortable in here as well. Struggling to see where we will get our first point of the season

After we got battered in our opening day fixture against Brentford I would have said certs relegation but the last 2 games have give me a slight hope we can stay up if we keep battling away all season. Yesterday if we played against a weaker team we would have picked a point up but we need to win around 50% of our home games if we're gonna stay up because we won't win many points on the road.

:bye:

If someone could kindly update the title, I'll make myself comfortable.

You’ve got your token three points coming next week, as is the norm when we rock up to Loftus Road, cheer up!

Not surprised to see Hull where they are, said they’d go down in the summer. Just got no idea where the goals are coming from.

Even though we have had a great start, and surprised not only ourselves but everyone else, I still suspect we will have another season of struggle, however, for the first time in years we will actually make a profit, and bodes well for next season as we'll have some money to spend for a change.

We'll flirt with the bottom 3 for a while I think before eventually finishing something like 16th. Happy days.

What's happened to your sugar daddy. He got bored or what?

We haven't had a sugar daddy in a few years. We had to stop spending so we have been shopping at poundland for the last 3 or so years.

I worry for Ipswich. It doesn't look like their team made up of L2 players can cut it at this level.

Early days for them, as it is for a lot of clubs. Two poor teams going through the motions tonight but it's going to take time.
