Two very good teams going for the win great game.

Makes a change from the usual team bringing a taxi full of fans and spoiling the game by wasting time from the first minute, then acting like they've won the World Cup with a point.

Just wish all our games had an atmosphere and intensity like that. On this game alone both clubs should go up, I hope we both can leave this league together and have more games like it in the championship. You are the first team I've said this to this season, and the only ones who deserve it, but good luck for the season and I can't wait for the return fixture.

Best game of football I've seen live in years, 2 teams going for it for 90 minutes, both sets of fans were brilliant, for once I've come out and I can say that was well worth £20. Very fair result it would of been very harsh had someone won. If a team finishes above us 2 then I'll Stand hanging basing it on that display
Think you're forgetting about somebody who currently sits 5 points above you both :bg:

Long way to go yet mate. And I did say basing it on that display.
I know mate, this is the only time we will have to brag so I need to take the opportunity haha.

I can still see you keeping it up you're a good side. We've had a hard start as well already played you lot, Bradford, Bolton and millwall away.

You will have to maintain the standard you set on Saturday if you want to finish above us. We are very solid at the moment and have additional strength on the bench. Good times.

The Bradford games was our least impressive performance in our last 4 matches but I think the good opposition had a say in that. Fortunately for us Wilder seems to be a hard task master and demands 100% effort with the right attitude/ focus. We also have 2 good strikers (at this level) on the bench due to come back (Clarke and Lavery)

It must be quite annoying how many are convinced Scunny's great run won't last.
It reminds me of when Burton were near the top last season and no one took them seriously until the latter end of the season.

Most Blades I speak to seem to think it's 2 from us, you and Bradford for auto promotion with Bristol R as dark horses. There are still some Blades though who think Scunny will blow up and falter.

Funny game football, ought could happen really.
There's always 1 team that dips in the 2nd half (like Coventry last season)
And a team that goes on a fantastic run in the 2nd half (like Barnsley last season).

Scunny won their last 6 matches of last season and only lost out to Barnsley on goal difference (after they won at Wigan on last day of season). In fact we only lost one of the last fourteen games.

We have merely carried on this season as we left off last season. We are a good side, and whilst i know better than to say we will go up automatically I am confident that we will be up in contention at the end of the season.

Can see us dropping out of the three as we don't have a goalscorer. Ironically we let Josh Morris go to Scunny, thankfully it's not affected us too much in terms of league position yet. If we are still in the mix in Jan I can see us putting some money down for a striker.

No chance of getting him but would love someone like Billy Sharp in the team who can finish chances and score out of nothing. I genuinely believe we'd be clear at the top with someone like him.

If McNulty gets a run he could be you're man. Really have no idea what were thinking loaning a main rival a player who could be the difference. I'm hoping we can call him back in jan

Hanson is a 100% starter when fit, his contract states so.

Keep him away from that starting XI, and we're a far bigger threat.

Would love to see Hiwula and McNulty upfront together.

McNulty will get a run I would have thought, he scored against Southend before the game on Sat and was probably gutted at the timing of the Blades game as he will have wanted to kick on and Hiwula had a decent game in his spot.
