There are no Boreham Wood fans on here. There are no Boreham Wood fans online at all as far as I can tell.

Possible there are just no Boreham Wood fans full stop.
There seems to be one stood next to the bbc commentator shouting 'come on Wood'. Unless it's a recording?

Oh I do love a good Boreham Wood bashing session.

I'll just leave this here...

A very good Pie and Mash shop in Leytonstone my friend, great quality!

Can I just say, fantastic user name! Wasn't he a centre half/forward who used to play for Lincoln about 20 years ago?!
Yes, a Dutch forward who was prominent when I started getting into City back in the mid-90s. Bit of a cult hero.

The one thing I have learnt already for next season - Hate Boreham Wood!!!

I feel worried looking at York, I cannot understand how they've got where they are, I didn't think they had any off field problems like we do which could've lead to them being on the brink of the Conference North :eyes:

Don't have a manager who knows nothing about this league, basically.

Any ex league club who's down here will have had off the field problems as well on the field, they go together sadly.
We did but clearly not your standard.
Packed in at Boreham again yesterday I see, 375!
We could easily take treble that on Tuesday.

Even that figure seemed inflated according to some of ours at the game. 250 might be closer!

We didn't have off the field problems, we were just awful on it. How we managed to fall out that specific year I'll never know, half the league was atrocious.

Anyway, hope Leyton Orient can escape relegation but looking pretty grim. Really strange how much our collapses mirror each other, albeit we didn't have the same depth of off-field issues.

And yes, with regards Boreham Wood, bring your broadcasting fees or be prepared for their chairman to write, ad nauseam, about your bullying, arrogance and whatever word has popped up on his 'Word of the Day' calendar that particular morning.

The football down here is mostly shite, the referees even worse, but the fans are the best around. Genuinely decent football people, in it for the right reasons.

Off the field wasn't the reason for our relegation.

We wasted a fortune on crap players :bl:
We were badly run the board weren't strong enough with Tilson letting only turn up to train the players once or twice a week. The whole place was a mess.
Once we came down here because of that, the smaller crowds and sod all tv money we weren't too clever on the money front, in fact til this season we've really struggled to compete player wise and financially.
Kinda off the field a rookie arrogant manager and a naive star struck board letting him do what he liked.

By off the field, I meant that on relegation we didn't have a dodgy owner or weren't paying our bills.

Sorry Luke get your point now, apologies.
I meant we were just a mess in general and were for a long time after relegation.

Fake News. Sad.
Camaraderie between supporters of REAL clubs and tinpotters doesn't exist. :bdick:

I'm really looking forward to getting a new owner and then smashing this league next season. We're far too big to be down here and if the likes of Cheltenham can smash this tin pot league then we most certainly can.

Ha. Just kidding. I felt I needed the obligatory cocky relegated team post before the reality of a mid week 1-0 loss at Boreham Wood kicks in. It worries me how realistic Orient fans seem. Fuck knows what happens next season, if Becchetti is still here there is every chance we're going to have another relegation. If we get a new owner then that's amazing but really we should be looking at consolidating and stopping the rot. I'd much rather Chelmsford up from the South please. And if Dagenham get promoted I will be MIA as I will have locked myself in a padded room.

Never under estimate any team in the conference. These well supported football league clubs don't always get straight out of league despite many predicting they will and the likes of boreham wood ain't always relegated during 1st season. At start of season i would not have expected Lincoln to be leading and York struggling

Not many actually *do* predict they will. It's a myth.
