Very pleased with that result and performance. Annoying to keep conceding in games still but Karius made a few good saves with is promising.

Our attacking play is unreal lately. This team is as exciting if not more to watch as the one where Sturridge and Suarez were sensational under Rodgers.

Although it's taken a while for Klopp to get his style and ideas into practise you could clearly see a direction the club were heading under him and finally it seems like the silly games we'd tend to drop points in are becoming few and far between now. It feels like we've learnt from the loss at Burnley and not being able to break United down and are now ruthless in attack. This game could've been about 9-3 yesterday.

The front 4 of Mane, Firmino, Coutinho and Lallana may not be the best on paper, but on their current form they are absolutely class! We've got so many options now in attack with Sturridge and Origi still sitting on the bench as back up.

Fingers crossed we're still in the mix come January and hopefully Klopp can attract a couple of high profile additions with experience at the very top level.

5 points clear of Spurs in 5th now so the pressure isn't on us with the gap as top 4 is the ultimate aim, anything else is a bonus. We still cannot afford to get complacent though, but, looking at our next run of fixtures you'd expect a decent return from Soton away, Sunderland home, Bournemouth away, West Ham home and Middlesbrough away.
