Not a bad month in terms of predicting our results! Wish I'd been placing money on them! (though the lowest I've seen bookies do is step 3).

Good results, 7/9 in the league, progress in the Trophy, went out of the FA Cup to higher opposition with a lot of players missing through injury.

We're starting to get a couple back so hopefully November can see us pick up some good results, but it looks like a tough month.

Fylde, Harrogate and Stockport were vital results to keep in the hunt for playoffs.

Following awesome August and shakey September comes Ok October. 9/18 isn't the greatest return, however it means we only lost once in 6 league games including winning our first points away from GGL since the 2nd weekend of the season.

We also beat the champions elect this month, albeit in the FA Cup but it was a morale raiser

Barrow (H) D - need to start beating top half teams at some stage but not tomorrow against the giants.
Aldershot (A) W - two teams that like to pass the ball, and hopefully Shots 'play' at home rather than 'park the bus' like most do at The New Lawn. Think this will be a high scoring affair like the Dover game. We have a few players left from last season's demolition (particularly KMB and Carter who had blinders) to hopefully go in with confidence.

Dagenham & Redbridge (H) W - this is the start of seven (almost consecutive) games v every other team in the top nine (only Wrexham break that sequence). This may decide our season, so if there is any time to be bullish with a result, it's here.

Predicted 16/18 and we got 14/18. Just all those missed chances in the Daggers game cost us.
