With League Two notorious for having one or two unfashionable clubs do unexpectedly well and a few of the bigger boys who struggle, who are you backing to be these teams this time around?

Surprise package - geuninely think it could be ourselves (Yeovil Town), with a bit of momentum and stability behind us at the start of the season for the first time in years.

But I'll go for Newport for similar reasons. A manager who seemed to do a good job when he came in last year and a side that finished strongly. Albeit they've lost a lot of players, Feeney seems to have brought in players who know the league which will go a long way. Don't think they'll perennially struggle like a lot do.

Surprise failure - I think there are quite a few of the bigger clubs and well-performing clubs from last year who have been significantly weakened over the summer. For me it's Plymouth who stand out. They were really impressive last year but worry about the losses of Wylde and Nelson. That said if Goodwillie does the business they'll be fine but I can't see it. Think they'll end up mid-table which for them after last year must be seen as a failure.

Surprise Package - I'll go for Barnet. Their home form was impressive last season, so if they can maintain that, while improving their away form, they could be in with an outside shot at the playoffs.

Surprise Failure - I agree that Plymouth could struggle after losing a few key players, but I'll go for Doncaster. I personally think they'll miss out on the playoffs with Ferguson in charge, and they've already got a few injuries.

Not sure I'd call taking 3 points from the last 11 games as finishing strongly.

Not much of a surprise to see someone picking their own team...

Weak gags aside, Yeovil will be complete shit again and your hopes and dreams for the new season will be crushed by the start of September (before an arduous, season-long slog towards safety ensues). Never mind.

Surprise package This pains me to say but I'm going Stevenage. They finished last season strongly and seem to be quietly putting a team together.

Surprise Failure - Plymouth do seem the obvious ones, but it wouldn't surprise me if Orient had another implosion half way through the season with their dodgy owner.

It would be more surprising if that didn't happen. He made it all the way to November before going insane last year (locking the players in a hotel boot camp) and steadily declining from there (kicking Yessenthaler up the arse, interfering in team selection, appointing Kevin Nolan, sacking Kevin Nolan).

Under/over is probably about October 12th for this season.

Surprise package- Cheltenham, they have momentum and the right manager at this level.

Surprise failure- Us, not a surprise for me but I just don't think Fergie is the right man for the job, the recruitment as gone well but we were still 3 decent players light before the injuries, now we are about 5 and I don't see any urgency to solve this. Fergie still wants to play a 3-5-2 formation that he couldn't get to work last season, we still lack pace and don't play a pressing game which is essential in both L1&2.
