Saeed Jaffrey died yesterday. Was always very fond of him and always liked him in his parts. Always remember him from My Beautiful Launderette. Hope Private Eye does him a poem obit.

He was one of those people that I often thought I'd love to have a pint with. Although I think he was a Muslim, so it'd probably be tea rather than a pint.

Yeah he was a stalwart of British and Indian cinema for over 50 years, and was a very likeable actor to watch. Shame he passed though he had a good innings.

I misread that at first and read 'parts' as 'pants'. I must have missed that episode!

A great actor,my favourite film he was in was The Man Who Would Be King with Michael Caine and Sean Connery.

That is a superb caper of a film based on Kipling's story. Well worth a watch for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Didn't really watch it even on the repeats when I was growing up but it looked alright. RIP to Grizzly.

It's a hard watch that and it isn't helped by the awful soundtrack.

Can only remember the Nessun Dorma montage and Imagine at the Red Cross camp at the end. Thought both were quite stirring tbh.

No it's Mike Oldfield's synth score for it which is just woeful. I like Oldfield, but he fell flat on his arse with this one.

I recently watched Wilder in Young frankenstein which was my favourite of all his films. I would love to see the outtakes from that ass well  As SALTIRE said a legend.
