Damn, beaten to it. I'm waiting for one of their supporters to set up a parody Ebbsfleet Youth Twitter account like they have done with the Wealdstone Granddad Division.

That lot are honestly something else.

Reminds me of a colour version of Premier Manager '95. I quite enjoyed it.

The swathe of non-league teams doing 'Roses are red, violets are blue' poems on Twitter today.

There's too many for me to even bother posting them.

Whilst this is true, Gloucester City's in response to a Salford fan was hilarious.

Boreham Wood's chairman has had a massively excessive, 11-paragraph whinge about our game being rearranged for a week today, calling us bullies and questioning the integrity of the entire National League competition. He is also going to have a word with FGR, Lincoln, D&R et al to try and get them to stand behind him with folded arms while he whinges some more.

He might have a point, but there are classier ways of making it, plus I think he's reading a little too much into it all. I won't be sorry to see the back of this whiny, arrogant club when we go up/down/under (delete as applicable).

I can roll with the wider argument, that a short notice rearrangement isn't advisable if it twists the arm of the part-time outfit, and that there's a fair chance that's exactly why the full-time side tries it on. Bringing it up publicly and extrapolating on that annoyance like he's done smacks of tinpot though. I know us Shaymen have had a similar discussion or two in our time, but none of the exchanges see the light of day. Morning Wood really enjoy airing dirty laundry...

“In my opinion and at the risk of repeating myself, 7 days notice, does not give our part time players or our supporters sufficient time to sort out dates or take holiday in regards to their day jobs. Plus if we cannot field our best team, how does that keep the integrity of the competition intact?

Surely both of them can just pull a sickie for the day?

They probably both work for the club though - part time of course ;)

If they give us the footage of Connor Jennings' goal last August and take down that photo on their website of their 12 fans celebrating the worst result in our history, I am sure we will be happy to play the match in June.

Seriously, if we win the Trophy quarter final against Barrow, the only free week we will have left is the last week in April, so you can see why we wanted to rearrange quickly. I don't buy the whole 'part time' argument either, as they must have rearranged at short notice loads of times for cup matches.

Their argument is that cup replays have predefined dates, and therefore it is easier to plan for. However, if they try and assert that their part-time players pre-book holiday at their workplaces on all potential cup replay dates, I'd call "bullshit".
