Derby have sold out their 2393 allocation for bramall lane. 600 seats blocked off in the lower tier for no reason whatsoever , could of given them the upper tier as well to be honest , no reason to use it for our fans as there is plenty of room in the rest of the ground.

Aye seems a bit daft but sounds like there's plenty of politics your end with the SYP and the random allocations they're letting you give out.

Should be a good day, can't beat a day on the pop in Sheffield.

It's a joke there is probably 10 or 11 teams who could sell the 3k at least, works out at a loss of around £200,000 never mind the teams who could fill the upper tier too or at least some of it. You would of been able to sell 4k or so I reckon to start with

We've sold 2k for Boro on Saturday so that certainly won't be selling out now, I never expected it too tbh, I'm afraid sky puts pay to sell outs for teams like us. Weve also sold 1k for cardiff for next tuesday so that will end up at 1300 or so which is pretty good for a Tuesday.

1,000 for Cardiff on Tuesday is brilliant support tbf. I know it's your first season back up here but fair play, it's a hell of a trek on a weeknight.

Similar numbers to ours, 1,800 now for Brum and 1,100 for Brentford Tuesday.

Can't really understand why our followings are so shite at St. Andrews. We had 5k at WBA the other year, sold out Villa a month before the game last year on a week night, take solid numbers to Wolves and Walsall providing it isn't midweek but Brum not so much. Only just sold it out 2015 and 2016 only 1.7k. Strange.

Cup matches at a Premier League ground or against a relegated PL club you've not played for years will usually attract a bigger following. Your away average last season was only 1,319. Would have done well to take over double that to St Andrews. Plus the extra allocation that you moaned about not having two years ago.

Villas following at Colchester looks pitiful for a club of their size.

League cup first round to watch what's normally a youth team against Colchester on a Tuesday night, it's not too appealing when Cardiff away is next. :dk:

I know exactly what it is but big clubs would still take a lot more than that. Leeds would of took 2k plus still tonight, we'd of took about 200 :bg:

Every single year we take 3k+ to Reading without fail, no matter how shit we are. Probably the worst away day in the league but it attracts all of our shite fans who love it's sterility.

Possibly mate, but we're so used to lower league cup upsets that a lot of our fans just don't bother anymore, seriously, see our history of them. One (or was it two?) was against your good selves.

Yep we beat you twice in the fa cup once at ours , we were championship and once at yours we were league one. I've not even gone in tonight and I wouldn't of gone to colchester either so shouldn't really be slagging you're following. Very very low for you though

1500 villa there tonight. Not bad at all considering televised and a long trip. Not sure Leeds would of sold out the 2k but that's another argument.

Thought it looked a lot less, I thought that end held 1800 and looked more than 300 emptys, maybe I'm wrong though

What of though ffs, can't be Blues fans - the WMP are more intimidating are more intimidating as City fans have found over the years.

Our away average is hindered by location though, whereas you're smack bang in the middle of the country we have to do the extra miles for games up north.

For games within 2 and a half hours of Bristol, i.e Cardiff, Brentford, Reading, Fulham, Villa, etc our average would work out higher than what we've taken to St. Andrews on our last two visits (including Satutday).

Sold just over 4K for Cardiff on Saturday. Surprisingly it don't look like it's going to sell out. 4K for reading midweek is on the verge of selling out. Strange one that, but it's villa after all.

If League cup figures are going in here, there were 1,736 piss-wrapped Preston fans at Accrington.

934 Sunderland at Bury. If they don't have a good season you will see a few low turn outs from them.

Can't really understand why our followings are so shite at St. Andrews.

No wins there since 1992 can't help, but agreed. We never travel well to Cardiff, Brum, Leeds or places with a bit of an edge, yet we can muster up 3000+ to sterile places such as Reading, MK Dons and Coventry. Maybe that says a lot about the demographics of our fanbase these days? I'm on one of my rare forays back to the country so I will be there anyway.

We've only not sold out Cardiff once in all the years I can remember us playing there and it was the Monday night bubble match that was on Sky. We even sold it out on the Friday night last year when it was on Sky, decent night that was.

Brum yes but Leeds is generally just because we don't travel up north well. We had 2,200 at Leeds the other year as we hadn't played at ER for a few years, but other than that it's been just bog standard northern followings.

Anyway, 350 tickets left for Brentford next Tuesday, and 1,900 sold for Brum.
