Bury away........

Always an eventful affair, these fixtures. Looking forward to it, I’ll be in Manchester early doors. Seems to have caught te imagination of most awayday supporters, and rightly so - it’s our first real local away outing... not that I’ve banged on much about it this season. Que poor following, but We have, apparently, already sold out the Cemmy End. :2thumb:

Bury are in poor form, and we’re banging shit loads in away from home. I genuinely believe that we’ll slip up, but the prediction may seem harsh given how well McCall sets his sides up away from Valley Parade - call me pessimistic.

Tony McMahon is out injured, and he’s Mr Fucking Assist, to be fair. He’ll be missed, but it’ll pave the way for young Luke Hendrie - or it could be a 352! Hence the potential bananaskin.

GK: Colin Doyle

RB: Luke Hendrie
CB: Nat Knight-Percival
CB: Matthew Killgallon
LB: Adam Chicksen

RW: Alex Gilliead
CM: Jake Reeves
CM: Romain Vincelot
LCM: Nicky Law

ST: Charlie Wyke
ST: Dominic Poleon

1-1 (3,000+ City)

Shit Fed Title
Been a while since I had the excuse to trot that one out
Almost as shit as Clarks tictacs
Suspicion we may fluke a draw, or you will wipe the bleedin floor with us.
This squad is FAR too good to be in a relegation fight, the problem is we lack fight.

We'll lose. Just depends on Bradford by how many.

It'd be nice to be the team to get that toss pot sacked, going for a 2 or 3-1 win.

I'd be fucking outraged if I were you.
I've been in Liverpool all day so didn't keep up with the game but Christ that's a shocker of a score from our point of view

Really disappointing. Thought it was a soft penalty but can't complain about the rest of it. Never really got going all game.

McCall late with the subs again. It was obvious from the 60th minute things weren't changing so why he leaves it until the last 10 minutes I've no idea.

Now comon TA you are not a bad side and we literally scaped it against you at Highbury. Whichever way you want to look at it, and as an outsider this has to be an excellent result. The trouble is we are all football fans and live for the moment, a bad result and we are up in arms, so last month your manager was shite, tonight he will be the toast of Bury, I dread to think whats going on in Bradford !

Haha I was being a tad overdramatic I admit but the last game I saw was us losing 2-0 to MK.

We're very inconsistent at the moment, we're still not very good at the back and our keeper had to come to the rescue once or twice. I think we'll win more games than we'll lose and I'd like to think we'll improve majorly when Dawson comes back. I think we'll finish between 12th-15th but a long time to go.

Best performance of the season from us but I know we can play much better.

Not seen the highlights, and I doubt I will -

Pen seemed soft. This gave Bury a much needed confidence boost, and if that didn’t, the goal a few seconds later to turn the game on its head most certainly did. The third was a result of us throwing men forward.

Most disappointing factor for me is that Poleon is fucking wank through on goal. He had two very good opportunities today, and not to mention a few in recent games at home. He’s probably short of confidence, but judging by his Snapchat account, you wouldn’t think so. Useless at minute.

3-1 - you’d think we were royally fucked up the bum, but the stark reality is, both sides were poor. Questionable pen (on live viewing), second, fuck knows what happened, and third was due to committing men forward. Aside from that, it was a game with next to zero quality shown from both sides.

We’ve been here before with the Blackburn and Fleetwood results - games of which we were probably unfortunate to lose, and today was one of those. We tend to come back strong, and pick up where we left off, so I expect the same on Tues.

McCall, utilise a 433, it’s the most suited formation given the players we have in form.

Not read our website yet, I'm sure it will be entertaining. From my point of view yes it was very poor, but if not for a soft penalty I don't think they were in the game in a month of Sundays. After the penalty though there was no excuse we totally fell asleep. But then second half, Poleon misses 2 1 on 1s and Vincelot misses 3 easy headers all whilst at 2-1 should have been 4 or 5-2 by the time we gave them a 3rd. Still can't have any complaints other than the pen, the players have to take responsibility. Like against your lot I'll put it down to a bad day at the office and hopefully like last time we bounce back with a win.

The only reason that result grates is that going 1 up they looked shocking and certainly me and others around me were a bit complacent and were thinking how many are we going to win by, I just hope that wasn't the players mentality.
