But, I would expect that if there is any real danger of us getting relegated (and I strongly believe we won't, but I said this in League One and hello York) there will be several hundred grand thrown on top of the budget to stay up at all costs. Relegation again would be absolutely disastrous.

For the record I expect Davis to be gone after Travis and Teague have their catch up, tonight was just one of those games where it feels like a change is imminent and there can be little protest if there is one.

Perhaps “mad dog” till the end of the season then. Wouldn’t be surprised at all. Made for him this situation.

His footballing philosophy is so radically different to Ling's, I can't see it.

Really feel for you guys if he is appointed was a club legend as a player but as a manager he is awful, his win ratio of 5 wins in 30+ games makes him the worst manager in our history

If Davis goes, you could do a lot worse than get Brabin in. He'd definitely make you hard to beat and I'd put money on you staying up under him (I think you will anyway, tbh).

Well Pennock's confirmed now. Pretty pleased with that, as the options available weren't great - he'll be given time by the fans, sounds like he's content to grind out 1-0 wins (judging by his time at FGR) and might be high-profile enough to get some of our primadonnas back on side.

He's not the player he was last season. He's still a vital player in our defence though. I'd imagine we will just keep Gary Whild in charge for the rest of the season and plan for the Conference North next season.

Literally all you have to be in this division is organised with one good player (hello Macaulay Bonne!) and you’ll make the playoffs. The fact that Davis couldn’t even make us competitive is testament to his abject lack of ability. Glad he’s fucked off, but I’m now waiting for us to announce Teddy Sheringham and get relegated.
