Not sure about worst signings, but I think Forest have wasted some money. Also James McClean.

Toni Leistner looked a car crash for QPR on Saturday.

Thinks he can play it like Bonucci, but it ends up more like Neill Collins.

Barry Douglas still hasn't let Tom Ince out of his back pocket yet

I know he had a half decent spell of games for you when you were shit but let’s be reyt about Weimann.

Tom Ince is 47 times the player he is.

Weimann started well on Saturday, he rarely got a chance through the middle for Derby so let's see how he does for us. He was good there for Wolves.

I think McGinn will be one of the signings of the summer, signed for Villa yesterday.

We shall revisit this thread when he's scored 20 goals this season

Bit harsh on weiman that. Not saying myself he will be one of the top signings of the season, but it’s not uncommon a player has performed differently at different clubs.

You used him out wide, he’s being used centrally for us like he was at his villa days and has scored from his last 2 starts. Early days, but a promising start.

Pretty sure the promise of playing him in his preferred position is the only reason he agreed to join us tbh

I think he’ll do alright for you lot but he won’t be one of the best signings of the summer. His end product will soon be frustrating you just as much as it has Villa and Derby fans. Absolute workhorse and 100% effort always but his final ball/finish will be what he’s judged on again.

I could be wrong but I don’t think it’ll be long until he’s stuck out wide for you.

Sounds like a betting opportunity...

It might have been an off day and he'll settle but he needs to cut down on the Hollywood stuff at the back, anyone playing a high press looks like they will get plenty of change out of him.

Clucas to stoke for 6m can go on the worst list.

I was shocked when I saw Forest spent 6M on Grabban, everyone seems to bang on about the fact he did alright for Sunderland but a lot of those were penalties. Don't particularly rate him personally. Plus he's 30.

McGinn will be on the best list, perfectly suited for a long gruelling Championship season. Has a ridiculous engine, doesn’t stop running and a serious ball player to boot.

4 of his 20 goals last season were penalties, and those 20 goals came in 34 appearances, most of which were for the worst side in the league. Don’t ask for much do you?

John McGinn - For around £3m this is an outstanding piece of business. He'll breathe new life into Aston Villa. I don't think there'll be a better signing this season. A real all rounder. Energy and quality in abundance.

Gwion Edwards - Exciting and versatile winger signed for a relative bargain price. Ipswich is a perfect move for him because he'll be a regular starter. He'll give them something new.

Adam Armstrong - An apparent £1.75m up front is an absolute snip and it baffles me why we and other Championship clubs weren't all over this. It's a no risk signing and he'll at the very least maintain his value. He needs to be part of a front 2, but it remains to be seen how Blackburn fit him in.

Barry Douglas - Was probably the best left back/left wing back in the league last season. £3m is peanuts for someone guaranteed to deliver so many assists.

Peter Etebo - Looked a good player for Nigeria in the World Cup and his energetic style combined with technical ability should make him a perfect fit for the Championship.

Patrick Bamford - In the current market, the reported £7m fee represents good value in my view. He's a very good player who just needs to be in the right team, which he hasn't been for the last few seasons. In this Leeds team he should score a hatful.

Bersant Celina - Getting him permanently for £4m is a great piece of business for Swansea. Very talented attacking midfielder who's guaranteed to provide goals and assists.

Reece Burke - Under the radar a bit, but the reported £1.5m for him is a superb value signing for Hull. Tall, comfortable on the ball and flexible positionally. Only 21 and will improve a lot playing regular football.

Josh Magennis - Seriously. He's a really good target man, which Bolton need. I fancy him to get into double figures as well. Their only cash signing.

Best loan signings: Dean Henderson. Lukas Nmecha. Jay Dasilva. Antonee Robinson. Kasey Palmer. Mason Mount. Harry Wilson. Dwight Gayle. Benik Afobe. Harvey Barnes. Yanic Wildschut.

Agree with most of what you said but Magennis is tripe mate. Very much a Parkinson signing though.

Magennis is gash but has obviously started well, so can’t knock that.

No surprise both goals have been headers, my only advice to Bolton fans is not to bother getting off your seat if he gets through one on one.

He started out as a goalkeeper so obviously has a knack of keeping the ball out of the net which isn’t as useful when you’re playing him as a striker.

Impressed by Hughes, Burke and Ledson so far, about £1.1m for all 3.

Watkins seems like such a pointless signing. Not gonna judge Hunt on one game but he had a shocker for sure.

Barry Douglas. Gutted to lose him and I think we will regret it all too soon.
Weimann. Under-rated and I think he will get better and better. Would liked to have kept him on at Wolves last season.

Wells and Hemed coming finally means we have a replacement for Austin. Genuinely excited about having two proven goalscorers. Can't remember the last time we had 2 of them.

Hope you’re right. Two of those at Bramall Lane. Kean not match fit, Woodburn looks a lightweight against Championship players

Reckon Said Benrahma will get on to a few people's lists by the end of the year, looks brilliant so far.
