Relatively happy with 6 points from a possible 9 to start the season. Not ideal losing t York given they've lost their other two but by the sounds of it they deservedly beat us so no complaints from me.

Tomorrow night we entertain Guiseley at EP. I remember the last time we played Guiseley the season they went up. They went 1-0 up, had a man sent off and then scored 2 more! We we're dire though back then!

They've struggled to begin with but this division can throw up many a wobbler so I'm hoping for a good performance and the 3 points.

Ok perhaps Gary Roberts will be available tomorrow then.

Slight possibility that our game may not go ahead after rain damage or some such shite.

He will be and Dan Bradley will be for us. They take a week for the suspension to kick in so he'll be missing on Saturday.

And that's annoying to hear was looking forward to the game tomorrow. Impressive if there's a postponement in August.

Yeah

I think if it’s a straight red it’s a week, (time for appeal to be considered) it was longer at one stage.

If it’s two yellows then I believe you might miss the next game as it cant be appealed.

You're nearly as funny as the voice of the guy in your profile picture.
No where near as funny as that result of yours on Saturday either.

That simply cannot be topped.

Another round of fixtures is upon us tomorrow then

AFC Telford v Brackley Town
Alfreton Town v Curzon Ashton
Altrincham v FC United
Ashton United v York City
Boston United v Nuneaton Borough
Bradford PA v Spennymoor
Chester P-P Kidderminster
Chorley v Southport
Hereford v Leamington
Stockport County v Guiseley

Wednesday

Darlington v Blyth Spartans

A tough game in prospect tomorrow against John Flanagan`s Curzon as always but an opportunity to pick up three points that we need to take really.

We have made the acquisition of defender Josh Gowling on a 1 month loan from Torquay as we are stacking up the injuries. Clifton and Shiels played 86 and 90 minutes with injures on Saturday and Martin Riley isnt fit fir another few weeks yet. Good time to play us..but Curzon should target York on Saturday as they have nothing to fear.

So Harriers apparently strongly protested the postponement and offered to swap the fixtures for home and away which Chester refused.

The club has enough to do, they all walked in today to a wreck with no electricity, the board are all volunteers who have other jobs and our secretary left last week for another role elsewhere. We’re talking about one day of notice with no travel booked or anything, for all we know some of the players might need to arrange extra time off to travel further than they would have expected to as well.

Seen some pretty silly stuff on social media with people saying the pitch is playable and coming out with daft conspiracy theories, the water damage has left us with no electricity. It’s just impossible to get the game on tomorrow, Health & Safety wouldn't allow it and let’s face it, It’s hardly the end of the world.

Some people need to get a reality check.

'Strongly protested' on what grounds? It's being played next tuesday, so where's the problem.

We obviously can't do anything on the point of an electrical issue but think the protest was more let's play it at aggborough instead.

Also we'll now be missing one of our better players for the game due to a suspension and we're missing the opportunity to take advantage of Chester being on the receiving end of a demolition job and us recovering from being down to 10 men to save a point to take that momentum to them.

Obviously they could've come out fighting and trying to prove a point but I think it's more advantageous to them for a postponement than it is for u to s.

Do you reckon it'll be sorted for next week? If your security room is damaged that's surely gonna cost a bit to repair.

On the whole it's just frustrating from both sides I imagine. Was looking forward to the game personally as it's not a big journey and I thought there could've been a decent crowd as well.

Got another home game against FC United on Saturday to think about first. I'd imagine they're confident about next week given the decision to rearrange so quickly though. Doesn't need to be perfect in the short term, just functional.

Fair enough. Also, I think some of the reports could've been clearer. Some of our fans seem to have got the impression it was a bit of wet carpet a broken PA system. Think that's why there was frustration.

Lord luv ya Railway Blue. I mean, we lost by 7 goals, but at least that was to bloody Grimsby. I'll bet you laughed about that but that's ok because it IS funny when it happens to somebody else. :fl:

Seriously though. What. The. Fuck?

When you lost 7-1 to Grimsby was that when Harvey was in charge, because he's as popular as gonorrhoea here.

It is same old she old from us.

We will play ball about well, but will create at best 4 chances in the game, but 2 of then will probably be good ones.

We will have more of the ball but run out of ideas around the box as cannot play basic style and just don’t have the quality to pass it through.

We can be solid, in odd games will leak goals but most games can be good defensively and restrict other side, but normally will leak one goal.

We have no plan b just down to sheer lack of player options......not managers fault he just cannot afford one.

So key factors will be if we can score from them 1-2 chances and if we do will it come early enough for us to focus on keeping Alfreton our, or will Alfreton get them two vital goals which pretty much gets the win down to us being unable to get enough chances to get 2-3 goals.

Am just hoping game gives Cummins some more vital fitness game time for the easier on paper September.

Mind it has been one weird first 3 games so who knows.

I expect defeat tonight, as you say York may be a better one for us.

Absolutely hammering Southport at the minute, can see why they're doing poor.

Yes Yes Yes nicked a winner right at the death.

from reading both twitter accounts we rode a heck of alot of luck in first half, played alot better this half and been even with plenty of chances for both, but Denton flogged a sitter 2 mins ago and then we nicked it.

massive win for us if we take it, very tough first month so 6 points already would be great.

undeserved, but we had that on saturday from what a few told me where we had little luck and they got a result, so you win some and lose some with lady luck.
