Fair play to the Rams Special Teams for a couple of clutch kicks - Legatron is back in full force, that looked like it would have been good from 70. The Saints were completely jobbed on that non-call but plenty of people have reason to think it was delicious irony:

  • Eagles fans
  • Steelers fans for week 16 and the phantom PI calls on Joe Haden
  • Vikings fans for awful refball in the 2009 NFC Championship Game
  • Bountygate (see point 3)

Looking forward to the AFC Championship Game. Got the Pats winning it but would obviously prefer KC to make it to their first Super Bowl in nearly 50 years.

This is the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead and I should be loving it but that is a contender for worst first quarter I’ve witnessed in a decade of following the Chiefs.

I was going to say the Pats were dominating the line of scrimmage so far which is still true but that turnover could not come at a worse time.

McDaniels really needs to stop trying to be too smart for his own good. Throwing it when we were stuffing it down their throats is inexcusable.

This is one of them games where I think so far we’ve played terrifically well but it is only a 7 point lead. Given the dominance I think KC will not be too unhappy themselves.

We’re definitely growing into the game but I’m not feeling so great right now.

Winning the physical battle at present is the main difference. Long way to go though, KC have the ability to hang 21 points on you in a matter of minutes.

That throw from Brady to Dorset was picture perfect.

This is classic Belichick he has spent a career strangling the life out of great offenses Bills and Rams being notable examples hopefully KC can get going in the second half

I don’t think Edelman touched that but whatever they called there one side would be seriously pissed off about it.

Not that it’s hurt KC in the end.

Funny how things work out that it was Edelman who tipped that one.

This is a horrible day for NFL officials. That was not roughing the passer (glad we benefited obviously).

There’ll be time for further in depth analysis and all that but fuck me that I can barely breathe. What an incredible game.

Commiserations to you Craig genuinely, amazing second half from your team.

That really hurts, not gonna lie. Having said that I’m also awestruck that I’ve just watched a Chiefs team narrowly lose an AFC championship game in overtime.

If I wished you good luck in the super bowl tho I’d be lying Kieran. Come on Rams...

Chiefs I feel was a tad unlucky a very close game which was really settled on a coin toss as it seemed neither D would get a stop in OT but I think the Chiefs are set up well for the future Mahomes is a legit Franchise QB and they have other good pieces especially if they can draft well on the defence.

London games announced for next year. Got Panthers @ Buccs, Bears @ Raiders, Rams @ Bengals and Texans @ Jags. Of them the most intriguing ones are the Panthers and Jags games would say.

Re last night it's a mark of just how explosive that KC offense is when you consider the Pats dominated time of possession by over 20 minutes, ran 94 plays, made 36 first downs and were 13 of 19 on third down. All that would suggest the game should have been a complete blowout but the brilliance of that Chiefs offense (with minimal production from Hill and Kelce) took it to overtime.

Shame though that some of the officiating in both games overshadowed things a bit though. The more egregious being in the case of the Saints. Probably getting to the point I think the NFL should make everything including penalties reviewable.

On the bright side we won’t have to go eat McDonalds with Trump now.
