Stevenage were embarrassing. Not a footballer between the lot of them, more interested in punching Norwood, two footed lunges and elbows.

Much better from Tranmere. In control start to finish.

Really annoyed to lose that, sloppy half hour defensively and failure to take chances cost us big time.

Big pressure on us next week with that loss.

Great 3-0 win at Crawley for us.

We now have 3 home games on the spin against Yeovil, Crewe & Morecambe so we need to take 9/9 to get us back in the playoff race before we visit Bury.

Are you there?? Sounds like we've had a good half. Thomas should have made it 3-0 by all accounts? Hope we keep this up. Bench looks strong again today, so hopefully we'll see some fresh legs to help us over the line.

I wasn’t, with our Scandinavian following on twitter getting highlights is easy.

Great win and sounds like we battered them, our run of fixtures is pretty kind now. A few wins and you never know

We didn't deserve anything today, we basically did nothing other than the chance in the first 20 seconds. The swamp of a pitch obviously had a effect but you can't blame that for losing the match - the defending for the goal was abysmal although it was taken well.

Our second lost on the road all season, luckily only Bury around us have won.

Interesting Curle said him and the assistant had a far busier day than usual because the game plan was to get up and talk to the 4th official every time the Cowley’s got in their faces

Are they recording them off iFollow and getting them up really quickly or something then?

Yeah, our fixtures are fairly decent all the way now. Playoffs a bit too much of a stretch now though, I'd be content with bouncing back from our next defeats with wins and not going on any losing streaks. These back to back wins are great but the losing streaks are a bit much haha.

Good to see Dennis off the mark today too.

Not a great game but a deserved victory nonetheless. Honestly don't know how Vale had only let in just the 11 away goals before today. I thought they lacked quality across all areas of the pitch bar Pope who is still a handful. I don't mind the Vale so I hope Askey can get them to perform much better than today and steer them to safety given time.

Happy with the win obviously, but the more pleasing thing for me was our back four and Mitov were good today, bar a short 10 spell in the first half when they did look a little shaky.

Big win Town. Big win.

3 home games on the bounce now to determine if we're still alive or set to break up early for our holidays.

FGR, Grimsby, Colchester.

Interesting couple of weeks ahead.

Because we usually park the bus away. That today was unacceptable from our point of view, too many coasted through that and didn’t battle. Pope clearly isn’t fit, he’d have us 1 up 99 times out of a 100 with that chance mind, and are massively reliant on Manny Oyeleke who was injured today in the midfield. He’s our only real powerhouse.

Fans are rightly panicking after that today although should be taking at least one or two of the chances we had which of which 3 or 4 were glorious ones really.

As someone who's previously harvested easy likes and RTs from banging up highlights on the #gtfc hashtag, I chromecast ifollow to my TV and then just rewind any goals / highlights and film them with my phone.

Aye I’m 95% sure it’s a bridge too far but stranger things have happened.

Jolley has built a good side and hopefully a few additions will help us next season. For now I think we’re one of the only teams who can sit back relax and enjoy the rest of the season. Rather this than the situation last year when I was certain we were going down, Jolley has had a brilliant year.

I think we have signed some very good players in the January transfer window. The squad is looking strong now.

I thought the first half was fairly even, Rovers having more goal attempts, but Stevenage getting a lot of possession in the middle of the park. Second half, Rovers on top and deserved the win.

Stevenage had a lot of big lads in their line up and capable of winning ugly on other days. The first challenge on Nelson looked like a fair body charge, but thought Guthrie could have been booked for the incident which saw the end of Nelson. Think Nugent’s first booking was for protesting Morris’ goal, still unsure if grounds for complaint. Think he was involved in the incident with Norwood, where the ref opted to just warn both, but when he took Jennings out from behind a second yellow was inevitable. The straight red for leading with an elbow looked right at first glance. I didn’t think Stevenage were that cynical generally tbh.

What have I done now? Not sure can face another cyber battering from all the Stags fans on here :sur:

Haven’t seen the game only heard from a couple how it went and nothing is dissuading my view that the January window was another unmitigated disaster for us. Not one of the loanees making the squad is somewhat disconcerting to say the least.

Strange one, Howkins i thought would go in as we know he’s quality. Cambridge defensively looked frail so why we didn’t keep pressing as we had before the goal is anyone’s guess.

Apparently the offside goal wasn’t offside when they’ve watched it back which is annoying if the case!

If only Whitfield or Monty was chasing that 95th minute clearance down at the end and not Smith!

One of them, two sides struggling, keepers both made a couple of decent stops, to be settled by a deflected shot that was going down Browns throat.

Need something to change soon

Going to be blunt I’ve been very frustrated with Hannant in recent games.

That lino at the NRE was as bad as I've seen at any level. Prior to that disallowed goal (that looked fine), he missed a mile offside decision, which Dimi Mitov saved - and grew into the game thereafter.

He subsequently floundered with 2 or 3 more decisions and only added to the frustration with the ref - who also seemed out of his depth but luckily didn't seem to make a match changing decision.

Not to suggest you dominated (we had plenty of chances as well) but Mitov had his best game since he joined us - no bloopers, for the first time ever, and at least 3 saves that Forde would probably have not got to.

He wound Pope up with a few decisions!

Keeper made a good couple of saves, he was busier than Brown which is one positive we can take I guess, especially the Kay volley and the Hannant shot from close range.

Aspin lost his first game then won three on the bounce... could do with that now!

Like the Cambridge game, that. Early-ish sending off for us and then the team with an extra man are happy to sit in for a point.

Wind speed not ideal to a decent game. Sending off looked one, but I'm over the other side so didn't get a good view. Bit of a killer to concede with the last kick of the half.

As for that 'ball to hand' in injury time. Crikey. If that's ball to hand then we'll never have a penalty for handball again. The guy's got his hand above his head.

The ref wasn't great, mind. What he gave were about right, but in trying to be a strong ref, he ended up overcompensating and giving little.

Northampton's RB and RCB will be having nightmares about Andrade tonight. They didn't know what to do with him.

Our visitors were ok. Bizarrely negative after our sending off and intent on playing for long throws for the duration of the second half even thought they had the wind. Didn't even have a shot on target I don't think.

Your assistant got told of more than the Cowleys today! It was obvious early on what they were up to.

Predictably the Stevenage manager blamed your coaching staff for having a go at the officials when the teams line ups went in!

Them claimed you were trying to clearly con the ref etc.

The 1st official was our problem today, not the 4th one.
2 clear pens late on. Ref got the red right, but fuck all else. How on earth he doesn't give the handball is an absolute mystery, the Northampton lad looked like he was trying to block a 3 point basket!
