Sounds like we really struggled across in FarmVille down at Newport - like middlesborough and Leicester were quite clearly better than Newport but were taken down by their “pitch”.

What’s positive for us is what whereas we’ve lost today, no-one else has caught up which is a bonus.

The Nottinghamshire derby at county and then FGR at home will be massive

Well if their pitch even ends up taking Man City down then you can forgive yourselves for losing to them.

Didn't they draw at middlesbrough's ground originally though?

I still think we're too far adrift to be in with a shout of the play-offs but if we beat FGR on Tuesday night, we'll be 5 points behind them.

Then we can put our feet up this weekend as Newport play in the cup.

Last 6: Won 4 Drawn 1 Lost 1

Five points off 7th.

Getting more and more annoyed our game this weekend is postponed, may lose some momentum and the play-off gap will undoubtedly grow again.

Alternatively it's 10 days to prep for the next cluster of fixtures.

Good set of results for the top 3. Could've done with MK dropping points.

Us vs Exeter, both sides game in hand on the top 7, should be a good'un.

Especially if we turn over Bury on the weekend, as a result against you will put us level on points with the autos.

Certainly was. Stevenage for you in a banker no doubt, we’re away at county which will be tricky as you found out a week ago. If we can both win and the teams around us play each other it could be very good indeed.

After that edge FG at home which is going to be pretty important

I like to play these things down Hurrikeen.

We have a bit of a tricky run over the next few games - Grimsby at home (play-off contenders) Colchester at home (auto and play-off contenders) and Carlisle away (auto and play-off contenders).

If we can take 9 points, it gives us a bit of a platform as then we have (on paper) 3 'easier' games.

It could be a very exciting end to the season with a number of clubs now chasing hard.

Having looked at the fixtures, I think if we're still around the Play Off's come April 1st we will secure the spot and potentially challenge for autos. We have a fairly tough run for a while, but April is a very easy (On paper) month for us.

Now is the time of year the silly results start and lower placed teams seem to turn the higher teams over for fun.

We're obviously bound to lose at Macclesfield on Saturday to make it all immaterial, but there's some nice fixtures that could help us out if we were to win - Carlisle v MK, Exeter v Bury, Lincoln v Stevenage. Even Mansfield going to Meadow Lane is a tricky one given it's a derby and Notts will be buoyed from last week.

After Forest Greens embarrassing home defeat against the worst team in the league today, they are now written off and no longer recognised as a promotion or play off contenders.

Sorry Chris but come on, at home against Notts County? :lac:

Our home form is shit what did you expect? We're doing well to be playoff contenders we're nowhere near strong enough for top 3.

Tbf though, Notts have got one of the best squads in the league our keeper was motm could have been a pasting. They drew with Lincoln last week wouldn't shock me if they get a result v Mansfield Saturday

Yeah looks that way atm, if it stays this tight could be one of those where both teams have to win cos a draw won't do it for either team. Could be some mad end to end attacking if it comes down to that.

Pick the teams from 1st to 15th up, throw it up in the air and that could be the table.

On XG we are supposedly the 5th best team in the division. Probably about right but doesn’t account for the fact we are probably also the most error prone team in the league. If we cut out the goals we gift opposition we’ll make a run into playoffs.

Curiously Grimsby are by far the worst team on XG.

Think the current top 8 will be those who finish in the top 8, nobody else is decent enough or consistent enough. I'm sure the likes of Grimsby, Tranmere, Swindon and Oldham all like to think they have a chance and are full of optimism, and who can blame them? But realistically they haven't got a chance.

Don’t talk bollocks. Of course they have a chance. By and large there is little between most teams. It’s a shite league with a majority of shite teams. If one or two can string some consistent results together they’ll be in the mix.

Getting twitchy, eh!

I think Lincoln mansfield and bury would have to go on a pretty shocking run to finish outside the playoffs though entirely possible.

If anyone at any club in this league thinks they’re nailed on for promotion they’re either very confident and/or deluded.

That said. At least we’re safe from relegation :gr:

It's only an outside chance though, 1st to 15th could be anywhere? More like 4th to 8th with possibilities of maybe only Tranmere and Oldham sneaking in.
