Boreham Wood missing the quality no.9 they need to be considered for play offs at the moment, for me. This Chimichanga might be good, but to put all your goal scoring hopes on someone who’s had one good season (in the league below too) is a big risk.

I'm just waiting for them to announce Ricky Miller

They signed Ralston Gabriel mid season to be fair. I quite rate him. Did have Boreham down as strugglers but they’ve recruited well so far.

Isn't he the same lad that did this? Quite the career change

Saw it mentioned on the Conference forum that him and his brothers are potentially facing 15 years in prison......apparently on trial for gun offences.

Looks that way going by 1-2 of the links in that thread. Good spot.

The three brothers are triplets and one of his brothers is Ricky who is at Maidenhead. Was wondering why he wasn't offered a new deal.

Tshimanga is class from what I saw of him at Oxford City. He's not guaranteed to bang in the goals at this level but he's a great all round forward regardless.

This morning we've signed Albanian midfielder Albi Skendi from Stratford Town - who we play this afternoon. Agent McCrory is behind that i'll bet.

We had Tshimanga on loan for 6 months from MK Dons. He didn't play a single minute for us, never even made the subs bench.

Dover and Bromley fans, please tell me that Tobi Sho-Silva is better than his record suggests

Not particularly.
If he’s given a lot of time on the ball, which he may get more of in this division.
After recently spending 6 seasons in this cesspit I regret to inform you that the exact opposite of this is actually true, as soon as a player with any footballing skill gets hold of the ball a part time clogger is straight into him with the main intention of breaking one of his legs.

Is Allen any good?

Better than Silva. But a bit lightweight for centre forward in this league & not really quick enough as a winger
we took up an option for this season for him. perhaps he wants to move back north?

Sad news from Macc this evening that Danny Whitaker has been forced to retire from the game at such a young age and having played and scored in his 16,478th game just a few months ago.

It's a cruel game sometimes. Got his whole career ahead of him.

if that picture of him in his open letter is from his debut, he is surely some sort of Benjamin Button character!

I know you Macc lot are pessimistic about the coming season but I think posting this in the non league section is taking that pessimism a step too far.
