Apparently they are going to give some out .. Not sure how much . So this is all done for 7/8 teams out of 92 plus all those non league sides basically? Who will play a reserve side anyway .

Funny thing is these top teams get to the final stages generally so surely they aren’t that bothered about extra games . Just play a load of kids in the 3rd round which is what some in the lower PL and Championship do.

Probably be down to us EFL clubs on that one as it’s an EFL competition. Just seems odd to scrap replays in early rounds if it’s to help teams in Europe who play a second string in the cup anyway ? I can understand how they did it before with none after round 5.
