Care to mention who you were talking about then?? No, I didn't think so.

Us????? Steve Evans !!!! You know Fat Boy!

How many times do I have to state it? You even quoted his name yourself! My god how stupid are you? I could draw you picture if it would help ;)

Seriously if you find that so hilarious, can I recommend live comedy. It will blow your mind Adam. Blow your mind.

Must try harder than

Just your posts mate. Genuinely keep it going, you crack us Mansfield lads up

Great poster. You make us all feel better about ourselves.

Is that all you've got ? Seriously? If so tell me now, and we can save each other a lot of time.

'Us'??? Lol
I love how you speak for MTFC collective, en masse, how cute. We all know Stags fans are 'super' close but this takes it to a whole new level lol

I guess the small attendances help. Just stating facts. Now can we get away from talking about little Mansfield and get back to that larger than life manager of yours

And you wonder why we don't want to join the general match thread when the chat is this inane. It's bad enough having to play these sides twice a season as it is.

I still just don't get what this overbearing fascination with 1 thread is, it's dead in here as it is.

Surely one main thread for all the sides with not many fans and those that do can have their own - if say 12 noon on a Saturday if someone has the inclination they can merge that thread with the main one, and everyones a winner, right?

As I said yesterday, it's a messageboard about 4th division football, it's not hardly life or death

It would make the forum look better if they would at least move them to the match day sub forum bit say 3 days after the game. 15 threads on the opening page out of 20 are currently match threads.

Maybe if the football in this Godforsaken league wasn’t so shite people may well post.

There’s only so many times you can say hoofball.
I think this needs highlighting. I appreciate that it probably comes across as unripe grapes comingrom a bottom of the league fan, but christ this is a horrible league this year. I don't think we've played 1 footballing side yet (maybe Luton), everyone just route ones it up to the big guys. It's our fault for not being able to deal with it, but it's saddening when only a couple of years ago teams were at least *trying* to play football in this league

We're crap at both passing and lumping it up to the forwards.

Indeed, as this thread shows, it's much much more than that!

What are you looking at to get that clutter?

I guess I'm asking what is your opening page?

That doesn't happen (for me) with "New Posts." It doesn't seem to happen with "Recent Posts." Since there are 6 pinned threads, it doesn't even happen with what used to be my opening page, "The 'Rob Dunkley' League Two Forum."

The mods are clearly not doing their job then are they?

If a thread for a match is very short on posts then it should be deleted and merged with the general thread that I created for these unfashionable teams.

I think we need a new mod to replace that crewe mod JJ something or other whatever his name is. He rarely ever posts, a mod should be an active known of member who is around a lot and I think we L2 fans should vote who we want as mod as long as they want the job, instead of having some admin guy decide it who does not know the L2 forum well.

I SHOULD BE A MOD AS I'LL SORT THIS MESS OUT, SO I VOTE ME, ANYBODY ELSE?

I’m disappointed in the fake news Crewe fans are on the receiving end of in this thread. Our threads are always busy, real busy. The busiest on the forum.

Let's be honest, the individual match day threads only work when it's a big game like Lincoln v Grimsby, Lincoln v Notts County, Lincoln v Mansfield, Lincoln v Chesterfield or Lincoln v Luton.
Or any game involving FGR.

I like the individual match threads.
Last season on the Non League forum it was all-in-one and everybody got to slag everybody else off.
Here I've noticed that those who respond to specific matches are the more enlightened and fair minded and genuine football supporter.
Theses threads I enjoy reading rather than what is proposed by first poster.

Maybe....
Would you mod in a fair way?

I know what makes a forum work well and yes I would be fair and let the place have a good feel about it and I would allow there to be banter just as long as no one spams, posts anything illegal or makes actual personal threats and insults then we are all good.

How are you faring in the prediction league by the way?

I quit it because it got boring and I realised just how flawed it was. The cup one he does is alright though.

Do what is done in the non league section, which coincidentally is the best section of the forum.

Seems a bit like the Scottish referendum, keep banging the drum until you get the result you want.

Leave it as it is and be done with it :)

Well no, because we got the result we wanted. It's more like the State of Vietnam referendum from the 50s.
