So, for the last league game we've not had a match thread and we didn't win, so thought would try a thread to bring us some luck.

As for this game, Yeovil have been struggling and were taken to extra time with Port Vale the other night in the cup - added to the long trip here there really would be few excuses if we lost.

Yeovil are out of the relegation zone on GD, so will be looking to improve on this, and given our recent struggles against Chesterfield and Crawley anything could happen.

Going for a plucky 2-1 win for Mansfield, but won't be much in it

You will win. Convincingly. We are dog turd. We have no clue, no confidence, no nothing.

Our manager has completely lost it. In his pre-match interview yesterday he got the excuses out early. He said it's hard with 14/15 new players and our younger players aren't used to playing in a different stadium with different noise and different pitch dimensions. Christ on a bike.

4-0 to Mansfield.

We won't take that many fans but the ones who do go are sure to give Evans some stick. Our 'dislike' (to put it diplomatically) goes way back to when he was at Boston 15-20 years ago.

You are right MGL. On paper we should win easily. Unfortunately for us, it doesn't seem to work like that. No disrespect but we do tend to struggle against the 'weaker' sides for some strange reason. Recent examples are Cheaterfield and Crawley. Think I will agree with Adam and go for a crappy close win (fingers crossed). Please don't think you are without a chance for this game. I actually think it could go either way.

I don't think your manager actually ever had it. Good player but a lousy manager. Can't even put a decent sentence together when on the local radio. Well not one anyone understands.

That's about it in a nutshell. What all our fans think too.

0-0 at HT. Even match although we've had the better chances and hit the woodwork early on.

Pretty much went as expected. We dominated second half as Yoevil tired but, once again missing that cutting edge up front. TBF Glovers put in a good shift, worked hard and were particularly good at time-wasting, etc. Typical good away performance for a bottom-half team. Could even have pinched it. Think we need Hemmings back and a couple of good January signings. Still in it though, so keeping the faith.

Got to say Yeovil are the worst team I've ever seen for time wasting .. second half was one way traffic, one position I was worried about pre season was up top, boy do we need a good striker !

I cant stand cheats mate especially ones who play act to get players sent off- its killing football.

To be fair one player Dickson isn’t a reason to hate a club! He was right blasted for it by Players and Aspo etc...

That said I wanted Mansfield to win as Yeovil are a rival in the battle for the drop!

It was a good point but it could have gone either way. I thought we just about had the better of the first half and could (maybe should?) have scored a goal or two. Second half was all Mansfield though and we were clinging on at the end.

Like I said in the other thread it's a good job we won the league 4 months ago because we are utter crap. Some players seem to scared to do anything incase Evans has a wobble at them on the sidelines.

We desperately need a striker and some quality in the centre of midfield.

I know Angol's been injured a bit, but I'm guessing he's not doing the business?

He's been dissapointing so far but he's also not been involved much. That said when he has he's not done anything of note.

How did it go?

I didn't make the game or home for the weekend as picked up some bug and ended up in hospital, glamourous huh!

Still, another uninspiring show by the sounds of it emphasis on the "another".

3 points against Morecambe are mandatory, for the money spent, the level of progress under Evans is shocking currently.
