Gregory a different sort of player to those. If it happens, and I doubt it will, I imagine he would be deployed behind the strikers and to keep hold of the ball towards the end of games you're winning.

Yeah I can see him being of use but we've got Vydra who plays as a deep lying 10 already, would be madness to add him to the plethora unless there's more outgoings planned.

He used to play for my local village with some of my best mates before he went on to Halifax so always kept my eye out for him, think they'd be chuffed if he made it back up here.

Michal Zyro going to Charlton on loan. Ironic that he was brilliant for us before playing MK Dons and that thug Anthony Kay broke his leg. Karl Robinson had the gaul to defend that assault on Zyro and now he signs him...

Don’t remember this, was it in the Championship?

I assume it was a bad one, has he played any football since recovering?

A lot of times these players are never really the same. Just seems pointless us signing someone who’s played hardly any football with question marks over fitness when injuries have wrecked us already this season.

Greg Cunningham was the same when signed from Man City to Bristol City

He’s gone on to do alright though, hasn’t he?

Hopefully the same for Zyro.

Yeah, was a couple of years ago in the Championship. Hardly played since though. Got an article in our local paper if you're interested.

Bit disappointing to read about Robinson, hopefully it was the MK effect.

I don’t see him getting a load of game time but hopefully getting 25 mins here and there will help get his career back on track. Hopefully he looks at it as a chance to impress as I imagine he’ll be looking for a new club if/when you’re promoted.

Yeah, if he impresses I wouldn't be surprised to see you sign him permanently. It's a shame because he is a very talented player, and was in the Polish squad before the injury. He has 3 goals in 5 starts too which is very respectable at Championship level. Hope he is able to get his career back on track.

It would appear we've signed this bloke who Birmingham were after in the summer. Loan from St Etienne with a permanent deal in the summer.

I hope his footballing talent is better than his taste in hairstyles! :eyes:

Bit of a Tomlin by 1 report
Beauty of a loan I guess, Charlie. If he's a Tomlin, we don't buy the fella and send him back to Francais.
St Etienne paid €9M for the bloke so something must have happened there but it also means they must have seen something to pay that much in the first place I suppose.

Yeah he good at running through on goal, but Bristol City coach that out of him as a CB lol.

Under whelmed I think for the money there is better out there, also who is he going to displace?

The option to buy in the Diony loan is linked to us getting promoted.

Supposedly agreed a fee for Hamilton's captain, Michael Devlin. 24yr old centre back.

Highly rated up there but its a gamble as he's just returned to training having not played a game all season due to a cruciate ligament injury.

Edit - Confirmed by Hamilton, heading down to Deepdale for talks and a medical.

Preston North End can confirm that contrary to reports north of the border there is no agreement in place with regards to Hamilton’s Michael Devlin.

Weird, makes Hamilton look a little tinpot.
