That's all I can think of too. A couple of our players calmly approached Miller on the half time whistle and asked the reason but he just waved them away. Sean St.Ledger then tried to speak to him as they walked off the pitch with the same result. To me that attitude only makes the situation worse. A simple brief explanation with either our captain or manager would surely have been the wise option. Sadly, Miller is so arrogant and self absorbed that I'm sure such a thought never entered his head.
When we saw him warming up pre-match our first topic of conversation was what controversial decision would Miller make this time which would affect the outcome of the game. He didn't disappoint.
The wise option was the one he chose. To do otherwise would only invite further argument (unless you expect us to believe the playing and coaching staff at Guisly are different and morally superior to those found at every other football club anywhere in the world) . He's not going to change his mind once he's sent him off and the reason for the card will be in his report after the game.

Red card for Rooney ( note Halifax fan behind the ref about to lose his lunch in shock and disbelief!)

Those pictures clearly show Guiseley up to old tricks, again.

Bottom of the league and being punished for WHAT THEY DID.

Oh Mary , come and listen to this abosolutely CLASSIC Tin Potter comment: (from lutonlion on Guisly forum): "Midget boy Koslyo is a nasty piece of work. Had that tackle been even an inch higher he'd have taken McFadzean's knee. It was clearly done with intent. ( :ffs: )

I don't like to criticise officials because it's a thankless job, but I honestly don't know what Miller's deal was. I've never seen such a poor performance from a referee. I've watched County league games in both the north and south where the referees have done a stellar job. He never looked in control of the game and ruined an otherwise decent game of football. Now if I were the National League I'd be reviewing the footage, because if a ref is going to perform like that it's going to put off potential future spectators.

I honestly believe we'd have smashed Halifax today without the red. They are easily the poorest side i have seen at Nethermoor all season and were minimal to no threat whatsoever when it was 11 vs 11. " :fl:

What an embarrassment. Is GuislySteve going to call him out on this slander and bullshit, I wonder? (I'd do it myself, but in true Tin Potter style they banned me a few years ago as soon as they saw my FCHT avatar and before I ever made a post on the forum). :bdick:

So are you suggesting that free speech and personal opinion should be banned now? Especially if it differs from your own? Interesting.
I've read posts on twitter/Shaymen.net from your own fans stating Kosylo was fortunate not to be shown a red card for that challenge.

FFP doesn't really exist. Just a token smokescreen by the FA and PL to make people think that they care more about the welfare of clubs and their supporters over the money that swamps the game.

It has certainly affected Forest Green this season as they have had to let quite a few players go in order to try and keep within the FFP restrictions placed on them and Boreham Wood gets crowds something like 25% of theirs. The whole thing about Boreham Wood stinks to me. It is wrong on so many levels. It`s not like they are suddenly going to gain enough support to sustain them if they do get into the FL. I just dont see the point of spending the huge amount of money this owner must be folking out on wages , new stands etc when there is quite evidently going to be nothing , other than a ego trip, in it for him at the end of it all. I can understand Fylde, Salford City etc as their crowds have increased hugely since the money man turned up but not this lot. It really is time for the FA to expand the FFP rules to at least the National League to put a stop to this nonsense.

Banned? Where have I said that? None of our fans have claimed Kosylo acted with intent, your idiot says he set out to deliberately injure your player. The weather ruined the game, not the ref.

His whole post is bollocks and you know it. :fl:

Guiseley getting away with it again then. After WHAT THEY DID you'd think they'd be keeping their nose clean but no, at it again.

Big 3 points for Solihull tonight in a 2-0 win over Bromley. Leaves Hartlepool just outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Fucking Bromley. Think I probably hate those mockney tosspots more than anyone else down here. Makes Orient’s game against Woking this weekend take on a serious amount of significance. Whoever wins is probably as good as safe (especially us with our goal difference).

I get what you're saying and your side are even more of a BELT than mine, but there's no escaping that Morning Wood in the football league would be funny as fuuuuuuuuck!

No idea how much exactly they get out of their supposedly lucrative groundsharing and sponsorships, but it's clearly sustaining them OK on glue league crowds now. I highly doubt those crowds will change that much in the league seeing as they haven't already. I'd project 500 home crowds say, plus an average few hundred away from each team that visits. But given they've done OK by their bits on the side (very Wockney Canker of them, that), I'd guess the TV money would keep them up alone. So with the added element of being a side no-one can be hyped over playing, all's they need is a relatively good manager to stay football league.

Then once they do stay up, you've got the smallest side in the football league since Thames Association had fewer than 500 in their 120,000 capacity stadium in the early '30s. With all the charm of a small town London satellite club whose name itself suggests immense tinpottery and tedium, it'd be interesting to see who begins protesting their existence in the elite 92, and what it might come to.

We are massively in the shit but this constant cycle of ineptitude has left me feeling a bit 'meh'.

I fully expect us to go down, FWIW I think 1-1 is a safe bet for tonight but they've got Luke James against his long time former club who'll no doubt tear us new arseholes you'd never know could exist.

It's between us and Solihull as Barra have Luke James, two games in hand and that'll be enough for them. Solihull are a better side than us now we have half a squad left so we're the favourites to go down. I think their run-in is a little easier than ours too.

Luke James will probably earn himself a move to a League One club again tonight. James up against Harrison and Laing will be an utterly depressing sight.

Think we finally have something about us going forward, and can create chances. Fancy us to score 2 tonight. Unfortunately, Barra will score 3 or 4.

We played a weakened team last night, which I didn't agree with, in preparation for the FA Trophy game against Gateshead at the weekend. We can't win every game 6-1 unfortunately.

Cheers for that. No doubt you'll be up to full strength against us next Tuesday after you get beat in the Trophy.

Massive game for us tonight at an inform Maidstone.

Win and we go 5 points clear, anything less and we'll get knocked off top spot on Saturday. Hopefully last Sat at Dover was just a minor blip, which I guess you can afford after 5 straight wins and everyone else dropping points, but we've now got a great opportunity over our next 4 games (Maidstone, Gateshead, Woking, Chester) to really put the hammer down.

Win tonight and Sutton will need 2 more wins than us over the remaining 8 games.

James has been a brilliant signing for us, so I can't see him playing at this level next season. We've not had a home game for a month and our home form before that was dire, so it really is a bit of a hard one to call. A scrappy 1-0 would do.

After Solihull's result last night I think we have to win tonight, you know for a fact James will score cos he couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo in his second spell for us.

We see this as a must-win too. It's hammering down now, we've got an inexperienced-looking starting XI too. Somehow less confident than I was earlier.

It seems we've picked an entire team of full backs this evening. Blissett on his own up front so goals could be hard to come by.

Edit: 1-0 Maidstone, definitely need some goals now
